In my expectations Syria doesn't stand a chance against Turkey, the only realistic option for them is to remain calm and let it happen.
After they have wiped the floor with the Kurds they would probably leave the area. Assad would loose every thing even with russian help.
There is of course the risk of an escalation but Iran has suffered enough losses in Syria already and wouldn't attack a muslim brother.
Their only real ally of concern is Russia but it's not likely that they will open a second front but if they do it will still be war between
Russia, Turkey (Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Israel?) and Syria.
A war which Armenia has already lost.
