Taiwan scrambles jets as 22 Chinese fighters cross Taiwan Strait median line

Taiwan scrambled jets on Wednesday to warn away 27 Chinese aircraft in its air defence zone, the island's defence ministry said, adding that 22 of them crossed the median line separating the self-ruled island from China amid rising tensions.

The Ministry of National Defense issued a press release explaining whether the Chinese Communists, aiming at the eastern waters of our country, fired ballistic missiles over Taipei

In response to the outside world's concern about "whether the ballistic missiles launched by the Chinese Communists with the goal of our eastern waters are flying over Taipei", the Ministry of National Defense said today (4) that the main flight path after the launch of the ballistic missiles is located outside the atmosphere, and there is no harm to the vast ground area over which it flies. Therefore, the missile protection system of various countries is based on the solution of the bullet landing point.

The Ministry of National Defense further stated that the Nationalist army can accurately grasp the trajectory of the Dongfeng series of missiles launched by the Chinese Communists by using the monitoring and reconnaissance system, and predict that their landing point will be the eastern sea area, which will not pose a harm to the ground of the island, but will be based on it to complete combat readiness and comply with the rules of engagement. As a result, air defense sirens were not issued.
