Do you think it prudent to stock up supplies like we did at the beginning of the Chinese Coronavirus?
Realistically America will weather this. The question is how quickly can America replace entire segments of industries to replace Russia & aid Europe.

So based on that assessment alone I would say no. But things could change, tho again realistically America should be able to weather this. JUST BE ready to settle for other foods instead of your favorites.

The US needs to quickly mobilize and restart manufacturing to help our European allies. In the short to medium term, it's going to be nasty. However, I think North America will eventually weather this crisis, but only if we help one another.

That would be good for other reasons too. It would also reduce our dependence on China as well. We should also figure out what we are going to do about our energy situation as well, so that we can reduce our dependence on the Middle East as well.

Has anyone noticed the fact that Putin transferred much of his reserves in USD to the Yuan and purchased insane amounts of Gold before the attack/invasion / destruction of NUKRAINE?

Another thing, I am getting hit with an avalanche of trolls that insist that the World Economic Forum's leader, Klaus Schwab controls Putin and is behind this whole situation, boasting on video at Harvard that he has 'penetrated' the governments of the West. WTF?

Many believe Putin (I obviously do not want to believe this) is the victim of all this and he is ridding the world from the Globalists and eliminating supposed BSL2 labs that the Pentagon set up in northern Ukraine. Also, that Putin went in to get rid of the Azov Group, a neonazi paramilitary organization participating in the civil war int he East of Ukraine.

I am already researching this and there is some credence to the World Economic Forum preparing its 'Young Leaders' to govern the nations of the West -i.e. Trudeau, Freeland (CA), Putin (RU), Macron (FR), Jacinda Ardern (NZ), etc.- with a transhumanistic cult-like 'Global Reset' dystopian view. I went to their site on Global Young Leaders and searched for Zelensy to see if he was one of them, and lo and behold, he is one of its members!

So, when a fellow colleague journalist whom I work with showed me a video with the Ukrainian Member of Parlament, Kira Rudyk, who takes lots of selfies with her AK47 and posts on Twitter as if this war where a political opportunity to look nice, slap on some make up and pose with the Kalashnikov rifle that the government provided for her, I went what? Play that again! I said. She does say that she is with the New World Order (NWO). But I told him that it was abruptly cut when she said that and that it seems that she is referring to a new world order of nations without Russia in the mix.

Here is the video and part of the transcript that is being misused, judge for yourself.

"We not only fight for Ukraine, we fight for this new world order for the democratic countries"- Kira Rudyk, Ukrainian MP on Fox News.

Um, I think I have heard this theory, but the thing is I heard that Putin was also a member of this organization, so how would that work and why would they attack him, because if he is a member would attacking him even make sense?

Putin was or is I don’t know if he is now, a member of the same group.
These are my thoughts on the Ukrainian ministers comment on the NWO.
Speaking as a Ukrainian and her nation as having been part of the Soviet Union and now threatened with invasion from Russia. It is possible her understanding of NWO might be different than what your and mine might be.
That is just a guess though.
We’re the students in Hong Kong who protested for weeks and turned out by the 100’s of thousands secretly influenced by the cia and the NWO. That was going around then too.

This type of action could really start to piss off the proletariat!

No problem and your right.
Russia much as many would like to claim cannot exist as a viable nation if the sanctions are not lifted.
I’d posted an article couple of days ago on Russian imports about 40+% from China and most of the rest from Europe the US Japan and SK. Autos, machinery, industrial equipment, electric motors, lastly pharmaceuticals.
I think that those who expect their economy to completely collapse, and those who think that will never happen will both be surprised that it will take longer than they expect, and that it will collapse at all.

Agree. Just 30 years ago, it was the USSR (until December 1991), and the USSR was the focus of Western sanctions and blockages of every kind for many, many decades. The idea that the former Soviet Union has no ability or history for self-reliance economically, and is totally dependent on modern Western economic resources, ignores this history. USA's economic war is hitting Russia with what we believe would hurt, mostly based on our worldview. Western nations economic interdependence is significantly more a part of who and what we are in terms of nation-states.

This is why, in addition to the standard "nuclear" preparedness which many of us do to varying degrees, I believe there is a real argument for preparedness on what I would call "Hybrid Attacks" using a combination of cyberattacks and combinations of attacks on infrastructure, economy, communications, fuel, health. We have (and should have) GBs written on every type of nuclear and disaster preparedness, but with a different type of world, we should consider preparedness on the type of attacks we have seen in recent past in USA and UK, which target financial/market/cyber infrastructure vulnerability.

I don't want to be negative, but if there is a real nuclear war, there will be a lot that will never recover. Propagandists aside, I don't believe leaders in USA, Russia, PRC want to be in a place where nuclear-powered nations literally cannot recover, because it creates serious global uncertainty. Uncertainty is not the friend of the politician or the dictator. But recoverable punishment and retritribution? Leaders can be OK with that. Which is why I would urge preparedness for different kind of global war. All just my opinion of course.

On Russia's $288,832,313,000 national debt, the Russia public debt to GDP ratio was 17.80% and external debt to GDP ratio was 37.68%.

On the USA $30,321,639,200,000 national debt, the USA public debt to GDP ratio was 98.13% and external debt to GDP ratio was 95.18%.

Not my opinion.

Information Warfare and politics aside, the USA really does not want an economic WWIII. Because economic war reprisals can be devastating for USA and the West. I understand and sympathesize with the idea against the Russia invasion and brutal Putin tyrant. But you don't shot a gun around a gasoline station... or other fuel station. And especially the USA is sitting on top of one regarding economic war.
