Russia intends to "make threats" similar N.A.T.O is doing to onto Russia as they have said today. US absolutely needs to take out the Cuban government then install democratic puppet state.

That is IF Russia invaded Ukraine. Even just small land grab. Then the answer should be yes on Cuba to shore up vulnerable defensive gaps. Since Russia intends to create threats as NATO is doing to Russia, Cuba would be the likly rout Russia would go with.

Should be rather easy to install a democratic puppet state in Cuba, people are mostly for it, very small population, and close to home making logistical issues much easier than sending resource half way around the world.

So, it's okay for America to criticize Russia for invading another sovereign country but then turn around and do the exact same thing to another country in retaliation?

Typical American response. Do as we say, not as we do.

Let me bold, italicize, and underling this concept for everyone:
It is NOT okay for one nation to invade another under any circumstances.
That applies to everyone, including the United States.

Only if Russia invades Ukraine. If Russia does not invade Ukraine than no we should not overthrow Cuba.

Only say yes to a Cuban take over if Russia trys to take Ukraine. So no it isn't do as I say not as I do. More like money see monkey do.

But, where are the sanctions for invading Iraq, against the United States and Great Britain. Besides, they lied to the whole world.
They did worse than Russia and China. The United States is the most hypocritical nation in the whole world. The US is a fake good guy.

You made an assertion. That the U.S. is no better than Russia.

Russia has invaded, captured, and annexed part of Georgie and Crimea.

I ask you where did the U.S. do that?

You pointed to Iraq.

I ask you how that is equivalent as the U.S. has neither captured nor annexed any part of Iraq.

So either provide an example of the U.S. invading, capturing, and annexing a country or withdraw your statement. (At least in that part. I am certain the U.S. has done other stuff that Russia has done the same.)

I maintain: the United States is no better than Russia especially for the last 20 years.
But that's normal, you are Americans, and you love your country.
Your country has big tendencies to propagate to make another people worse than they are.
ASK Edward Sowden how he was disappointed in his country.

I believe the US wants to control as many countries as possible.

It is true that the USA does not annex other countries, but they control them, it's all the same

I would tend to agree with you here. The U.S. has this notion that it needs to export its government. And it rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

And it puts the U.S. in the role of World Police.

But now, let's ask a question: Ukraine is being threatened with invasion. What would you have the U.S. do?

I'm afraid he has nothing to do. The USA and Russia should change their attitude, there is no negotiation, the two dictate their lines of conduct. The 2 countries have no trust in each other!

Unfortunately, I believe that there will be war and the solution will be found afterwards, as is often the case in history.
Hoping we don't use nuclear weapons.

Well, we'll see. Europe has a nasty habit of capitulation. Russia may get something out of this.

The only true examples would be in the Mexican-American and Spanish-American wars. We annexed half of Mexico, as well as the Philippines (which gained independence), Puerto Rico, and Guam. Puerto Rico remains a colony to this day (look up the Jones Act).

Has the United States invaded and annexed countries in the 20th and 21st centuries? No. The same cannot be said about the USSR and Russian Federation.

The Russians moved into Cuba and aimed real nukes at us so why shouldn't we take it back for its people, especially since its people there are suffering big time under the failed Communist experiment. You would see Millions of Cubans leave the US to help rebuild their country, which is only what they have been begging for over the last 62 years. I have never understood why when we have a Navy base there and still put up with it for one dam second. I know Kennedy really screwed it up but we have had plenty of time to correct that menace off our Florida coast.

I will not, and have not, been silent in calling out US mistakes.

That does not mean Just because my nation has made mistakes and chosen wrong in the past removes my right to call out those same mistakes in another nation.

Maybe if you would quit trying to defend another by fault funding the same faults in others there might be real movement towards understanding
