Russia threatening others countries? ( Sweden/Finland )

Russia tries to prevent Sweden and Finland from joining NATO, for some reason....
 
So why don’t we agree that all war reporting is irrelevant and believe and support whom ever.
It happened, or it didnt. This was Russia, no that was Ukraine.
How about the bottom line, Russia’s ass is chapped that Ukraine would not submit to their will and declared war and invaded an independent nation.
Is that a verified enough fact?
 
Pure bluff at this point, given their performance thus far there is no way they would open another front in this conflict. It would be disastrous for them.

He said that a new salvo of economic sanctions was even in preparation "if necessary", in the event that Russia decided to continue its military offensive.

So here’s the reality of this exchange. Russia invaded Ukraine. Europe, US, and several Asian nations didn’t declare military war. They said fine if you are choosing this path we are cutting you off from our markets.
Russia’s response you are declaring war on Russia and risk a military response in doing so.

So not only has Russia invaded a sovereign nation. They are now threatening military conflict with other sovereign nations because they refuse to engaged in voluntary economic trade and finance.

This is true, but Medvedev is their designated blowhard, usually saying stuff for Vlad the Reasonable to walk back at a later date. Then again, Vlad the Reasonable appears to have taken a little bit of a vacation over the last week.
 
This insistence of Russia is bothering. It almost feels like they are lashing out in multiple directions.
They could have let the question of Finland lay and not responded a d nothing would have come of it. But instead they get bellicose towards Sweden and Finland while in the middle of there war in Ukraine.
I really can’t makes heads of what there trying to accomplish except alienate all of Europe.
They either think they have a better position than everyone else is seeing or it’s desperation.
It’s doesn’t seem very smart.
