A serious incident has taken place in a military plant in Çekin near Gramsh in Albania (former Weapons Mechanical Plant) Albanian media report.
Four suspected Russian citizens attacked the soldiers who were attacked with some kind of chemical agent.
According to Albanian medium Top Channel three suspected Russians have been apprehended, while one suspected is still on the run. According to the media reports, they’re looking for a woman.

FSHN (🇦🇱 Rapid Intervention Force is en route towards the plant) the same media report.
Unconfirmed rumours report, that one of the Russians has been killed.

Looks like another bungled Russian spec op. There have been quite a few of these, including in the Balkans. Much like everything else regarding Russia, the GRU isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Although it is worrying, I do not think the situation will escalate
Nato knows Russia is in a corner, they need to remain calm and not escalate but who knows what the Russians have in motion or are trying to accmplish. THere are a few on the run a woman and a male i hope they get them

A few years ago, Russia used a potent chemical weapon for an attempted assassination in the United Kingdom, novichok.
It seriously injured many people, and killed an innocent woman.
We expelled some diplomats, but there was no article 5. I think we can extrapolate from this that even if chemical weapons have been used no military action will be taken.

Russia has assassinated alot of people in NATO territory but those people wasn't important enough to cause an armed conflict.
It will probably only happen if Russia tries to annex NATO countries or intentionally causes a nuclear accident.
And that's one reason why I wonder why we still are at defense condition 5.
A radioactive plume of this size moving into NATO territory will cause alot of harm.
Entire crops would be lost, livestock would have to be completely disposed of, millions of people would get cancer.

Before any of this happened, I said 8 days ago:

Reminder I said that above before this happened. I still stand by that assessment that the situation would be and is different as NATO is united again.
