Server migration

We are in the process of a server migration.

Access to the site will be interrupted. While technically this will be for a very short time, it can take from a few minutes to a couple days for the new internet ip address to catch up to the new location.

You should experience little to no interruption for the main website as both severs will be utilized until the transfer is complete.

The message board will be closed on the old server and open on the new server. If you see the message board closed, you are still getting data from the old server. If the board is up, you are accessing the new server.

This migration will begin Monday, May 2, 2016.

There was a glitch in the transfer process. So we've opened up the board again until we get it addressed. Should be Friday. Then the board will be down again for a short time, though could be a couple days if it happens over the weekend.

When the transfer takes, there is a possibility that you may experience File Not Found errors for the message board. Do not be alarmed. It's just that we haven't had the software properly installed on the new board. This shouldn't happen, but wanted to throw that out there just in case.

If you suddenly start seeing error messages, it means the migration has taken place but we haven't got the software properly running. Your messages are safe, and the board will be back up shortly. (A couple days if it happens Friday or Saturday.)

Server migration is complete. We have had some difficulty restoring the board due to a bug in the phpBB backup/restore system. Frankly, it's been a struggle.

Most everything is working now. No posts are lost.

Let us know if something is still wonky. We do know that some of the rank logos are still missing, and the Teamspeak viewer is currently disabled. We don't know if it is the extension having problems or the server. We'll get it sorted.
