No but I did have 'Chinese lad loses his birthday balloon that's the size of 3 busses' so I'll take that as it's all the same at this point?Just as an aside, did anyone have “Chinese Spy Balloon” on their 2023 bingo card?
The Pentagon probably needs to get permission from China before doing anything to it. I'm sure it's just scouting all of the farmland in Montana that the CCP owns. This has been going on for several days now. I may be wrong, but dont you think they would had destroyed it by now IF they wanted to?
I have my doubts that it was undetected. Just using common sense, imho. This is fricking hilarious. Imagine it floated all the way from China undetected. Really sad state of affairs just letting it go on. Maybe they outta try out with a 767![]()
Which is worse, not detecting it and have it chilling there or detecting it and deciding not to do anything? Both are equally disturbing and funny.I have my doubts that it was undetected. Just using common sense, imho.
I’m certainly no scientist, but I wonder if there was some way of uploading some corrupted data onto the floating school buses systems that would have been simultaneously downloaded back in Peking? Now That would have been hilarious!Which is worse, not detecting it and have it chilling there or detecting it and deciding not to do anything? Both are equally disturbing and funny.
I doubt it. It was probably launched somewhere in the north Pacific Ocean, not mainland China. This is fricking hilarious. Imagine it floated all the way from China undetected. Really sad state of affairs just letting it go on. Maybe they outta try out with a 767![]()
This is not a bomb balloon. It also isn't seeing anything that China doesn't already see from its satellites.Nothing like this has happened since WW2 when Japan was sending incendiary bombs over to the west coast. Staff, you better wake your ass up.
China’s brazen disregard for U.S. sovereignty is a destabilizing action that must be addressed, and President Biden cannot be silent.
I am requesting a Gang of Eight briefing.
Yes, he plays 5 weeks in a balloonMaybe it's a listening device?
Senior US official tells me biggest consideration for not shooting down the Chinese spy balloon over continental US is the potential for civilian (American) casualties on the ground. Heavy equipment hanging from underneath the balloon could create a large debris field. MORE
Not seeing anything that you can't get off Google Satellite either. This is not a bomb balloon. It also isn't seeing anything that China doesn't already see from its satellites.

"It will be over the U.S. for 'potentially a few more days,' one U.S. official said. A second official said it is moving southeast."

Is it under power? I don't think a balloon can hover or follow a certain trajectory over our missile fields. Why would they do this? It's so obvious.*UNVERIFIED UNCONFIRMED Video Of Balloon Circulating *

My theory on why they're not shooting it down is they have the opportunity to use it to send garbage date back to China somehow. That's what I would try to do, anyway.
Exactly!I’m certainly no scientist, but I wonder if there was some way of uploading some corrupted data onto the floating school buses systems that would have been simultaneously downloaded back in Peking? Now That would have been hilarious!
