They do have a lightning to 3.5mm adapter bundled :)

Still not worth it imo.
 
Really terrible joke. Something I'd come up with. :)

Those new "AirPods" (ridiculous name, btw) are the stupidest thing I've ever seen. As a runner, there's no way I'd be spending $150 on some headphones that have no anchor to the ear. The original ones are at least tethered if they fall out. Bad marketing move by Apple, IMO.

I'm considering it, but all hinging on how they can be hacked for use with other devices. From my reading they both have a pretty advanced chip inside, and some serious battery life. IF they can be sync'd independently and with non-apple Bluetooth devices, I'll be jumping on it. It would be insanely useful to have the tech that's inside those things in a Bluetooth headset to use with my work phone, and another connected to my PC for team voice communications (or for things like radio monitoring in one ear while working in the other).
