Ask your favorite AI this question.

" I want to wash my car. The car wash is 100 ft away. Should I walk or drive?"

Copilot

Short answer: Walk. It’s 100 feet. Driving that distance is almost always more hassle than it’s worth.

ChatGPT

If it’s truly about 100 feet (that’s like a 20–30 second walk), just walk. Driving that distance would take almost the same amount of time once you get in, start the car, and pull forward—and it’s a bit excessive unless there’s a reason (like mobility issues or bad weather).

Grok

Drive the car.

100 feet is an absurdly short distance — basically just moving your car from one parking spot to another. But the key point is: you want to wash your car, not yourself. If you walk there, your dirty car stays parked at home, and you’ll just be standing at the car wash looking silly with no vehicle to clean.

This has become a classic “gotcha” question that trips up a lot of AIs (they often default to “walk, it’s close and better for the environment!” while completely missing that the car itself has to be physically present at the wash).

Not sure about others, only tried these 3. Be careful of thinking AI is always right.
What other ones has everyone here tried?

I've run a lot of very technical questions by AI.
On the basics it gets things right, but it can get more complex stuff wrong and be very confident about it.

Claude is the best one for scientific stuff I think, but you've gotta be so careful.
I use AI mainly for data analysis, coding help (AI is great at coding) and basic research. Even for those things it can make bad mistakes.

I've seen multiple AIs make extremely dangerous errors that, if you were relying on it, could absolutely lead to deaths. So @Loadstain is right, use it to help you, but be damn careful.
