Morning all. Bloody quiet overnight but tonnes of interference so I may have been on the wrong frequency. Phone patch at 1425z, and 5 EAMs for the rest of the night.

Skyking now - code word was "Uranus". I'm sure we've heard that one before.

Edit: Yup, that was back on 20/4 at 0511z. Not sure of the significance of repeated skyking code words, but last time it was paired with "Venus".

Edit 2: As a side note - yesterday is the quietest day since I started taking records, with only 8 calls in the entire UTC day. Anyone catch any that I missed?

Edit 3: Uh, disregard that. Typo, it was 11 calls :D

Edit 4: Another two back to back Skykings, couldn't catch code words but it wasn't Venus. Sounded like the message came from Carlisle? 0624z.

Edit 986: EAM now, from Carlisle, 0641z.

Edit B: EAM at 0648z.

I don't think they have anything to do with each other. The Hill says it was because something was thrown onto the lawn

Interesting... I didn't get any real heavy periods of traffic, calls were:

15:47:00 EAM
15:51:00 EAM
16:06:00 EAM
18:35:00 EAM

I was on 8992 on Utwente. Very heavy jamming on that freq about 20 mins ago, switched to 11175 now. It sounded like there might have been a message going out right at the start of the jamming so marked it as an "unconfirmed" call.

Do you have an estimate or log of number of messages during the high traffic period, as well as the times it covered?

Edit: 0122z: Some two way comms on 11175, pretty weak, but discussing fuelling arrangements with ground crew.
Edit: 0304z: More mainsail comms between now and the last one, this one currently a phone patch request to "ops". Didn't catch the aircraft callsign but he sounded nice and relaxed. Probably related to the exercises?

Long as they arent useless, nothing wrong with double posts. As far as i have found, your posts arent useless.
