I don't insist that you believe just like I don't insist that you believe the world is round. Belief or lack of does not change what is.

But I am curious why you don't believe Jesus. Do you think he was lying?

If the Messiah had already come then the world be a much better place than it is currently. As for whether Jesus, himself, believed that he was the Messiah, that's not for me know. I've only read the New Testament in English and I understand that after 2,000+ years and many translations meanings can become confused. In any event, whether he declared himself to be the Messiah or not -- I -- like many others -- don't accept him as such.

We seem to be going in circles here. I.Am. Not. A. Christian. I do Not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. I do Not believe in either the immaculate conception OR the resurrection. And I really do NOT owe you an explanation. Although, if you want one, you might consider simply reading the Old Testament.

Christian religions are a gigantic sect, with several branches, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox... I believe it is the greatest conspiracy of all time.

Here is what I say about Jesus:

Jesus was a real person. No historian claims otherwise.

He lived. He claimed he was the Messiah. He said he was the only way to the Father, that there is no other way.

Jesus said that his blood will pay for our sins, that whoever believes on him and follows him will be saved.

He died and rose again.

How do we know that happened? How do we know Jesus said what he said and did what he did?

We have eyewitness testimony. We have Peter, Matthew, John, James, and Jude. Three were his Apostles. Two were his half-brothers. They walked with him, heard what he said, saw what he did.

Most of these people went to screaming deaths claiming it was all true.

People will die for faith. No one will die for a lie.

They could have saved themselves if they simply admitted it was fake. That none of it really happened. But they didn't. They lost their lives claiming it was all true. They knew whether it was true or not. Their deaths testify it was true.

Now we have to decide whether we want to follow God who created us and his son who gave himself for us.

We don't have to. We can continue on without God. And then live an eternity without him.

Do the devil's work by sinning and get the devil's reward.

Or accept God's pardon and payment by Christ and cross the bridge Jesus gave us to God.

We love our human parents. Why wouldn't we love the one who literally created us?

The choice is ours, but it is our choice.

Love the one who loved us first, who gave himself for us even when we didn't ask for it.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour. In Your Name. Amen.

I am harassing her by asking a question? This is America, you are free to worship as you choose. As a Christian I will just put the Gospel out there. It's up to the induvial if you choose to accept it or not.

It's discourteous because it fails to respects any other religious belief system. And, history has proven it to be dangerous to religious minorities when the majority religion refuses to acknowledge the validity of any other beliefs.

There is a difference between respecting a persons right to believe differently and acknowledging differences. Your claim itself is demanding Christians not hold to their beliefs because others might find it offensive.

I'm not demanding that at all. I'm simply asking that you, and others, accept that I do not share your beliefs.

Also would like to remind most here we have a Patrons Corner where you can more freely discuss this with more relaxed forums rules. I noticed most here can access Patrons Corners so would suggest starting this conversation up there where it's slightly more private and rules more lose.
