TRUMP UNLEASHES SPACEX WITH MASSIVE DEREGULATION WIN

Not enough puts everyone at risk.😉
I can agree with this. (y) However to much is not good either. I was watching the news earlier and they were talking about people trying to rebuild their homes after the California fires. They have to get federal, state, county and city permits before they can even begin and that is ridiculous. IMO

Yeah, we need a balanced way to handle regulations. It's very different here, you need 10 permits for harmless work but safety regulations are poor. Frankly baffles me.

Response from a Free State: What is this permit?

Examples can be produced all day long describing where too much or conversely too little regulatory protections produced negative effects.

What I always find interesting is how most approach the issue as an either or proposition.

a. The regulatory process must always be defended and should never be seen as a negative impact on a society.
b. The regulatory process is always a unnecessary drag and burden on society.

So when the issue of deregulating an area or industry arises it is almost always reacted to I an almost religious fervor.

To speak for deregulation is a sacrilege, or for it as a defense of the doctrines of the church.

An ancient village with no regulations has zero protections of the tribe to demand each member does what is necessary to ensure the tribe survives winter or has seed and fields to plant next spring.

To much regulation and you have a calcified caste system that has gone beyond protecting the tribe and evolved into protection of a caste or quasi religious part of society.

And it is this negative quasi religious reaction to deregulation that always makes me laugh.
Leave one church just to attend another.

Humans are so predictable.
