You know who hates tariffs more than anyone else? international bankers and corporations that have been allowed to move manufacturing around the world to where ever they can find the lowest labor cost and labor protections.
That and what so assiduously avoided regarding the Canada and Mexico tariffs.
The 25% is to encourage the two to do their part in fighting the drug industry.
Should or can either nation do more to fight it? I don’t know, but hey let’s just do nothing about fentanyl and meth.
It’s just like all the screaming about DOGE.
Money going to countries all of the world for brain dead social engineering BS. For crap that less than 5% of the population considers worth it. Or that 60% of voters support the effort.
But again do nothing it’s not real money anyway.

Trump has no strategy; he's acting like a headless chicken. He's stuck with his promises to reduce inflation. All experts, both American and Canadian, believe that tariffs are deadly for everyone.
