As long as by “get rid of” you mean either deport or ensure they have renounced Russian citizenship in order to become citizens of their Host country, I agree. I didn’t like the way that was worded and one should never be vague about genocide. In this case I would definitely deport them and abrogate the treaty.
That makes no sense. Bomb threat? Why else leave for two days?
Budget cut ????That makes no sense. Bomb threat? Why else leave for two day?

Wrongwrong, putin cares about his people, otherwise he would be dictator of absolutely no one.
Exactly. I try to imagine the enemies' thinking to better prepare for security - not just those in power - but also the people that allow them to be in power. In terms of that thinking, I actually see the relative "restraint" on this as a bad thing for world security, a "good" thing temporarily for USA securiy. But to use your point, imagine the hostility and pressure that must be developing - not only against Putin, but also against USA - as a result. 20,000 Russian Federation families with a specific death with against USA is also a bad thing for USA national national security. I understand the Department of War views the Russian invasion of Ukraine as an opportunity, but it is a serious security threat to world and especially, USA. USA is best served by trying to find a way to discourage war and encourage peace. USA was ready to go to war with USSR over Communist Cuba, which had nothing to do with the Soviet Bloc per se.Imagine what the US would have done if a hostile state killed 20-odd thousand American soldiers with weapons supplied by Russia.
Communist Cuba was assembling short range Soviet nuclear missiles aimed at the US. If thats not a reason to go to war I am unable to conjure up a better one.USA was ready to go to war with USSR over Communist Cuba, which had nothing to do with the Soviet Bloc per se.
Exactly right. You have to be willing to defend yourself or become a victim. Is essentially the required response to a bully. USA today seems to have forgotten this and have become apologetic. "Sorry we upset you so much that you felt you needed to..." In some ways we need parts of the USA of the 1960's to return.Communist Cuba was assembling short range Soviet nuclear missiles aimed at the US. If thats not a reason to go to war I am unable to conjure up a better one.
If I recall we signed the SALT I treaty last time that happened, and a few years later did the apollo soyuz then SALT IIImagine what the US would have done if a hostile state killed 20-odd thousand American soldiers with weapons supplied by Russia.
The fact that Putin doesn't give a rat's ass about the Russian people may be the reason this war hasn't yet escalated beyond Ukraine. Imagine what the US would have done if a hostile state killed 20-odd thousand American soldiers with weapons supplied by Russia.
In fact, OSINT shows most of these casualties are from the piss-poor provincial oblasts. This is also deliberate. If Putin does really "care" about any Russians, it's really only about the residents of Moscow and several other large cities; the rest is just cannon fodder.
No, no they are not. Please be my guest and compare the data to EU. Not even close. Inflation may be a problem but western economies are not in free fall like Russia. Not even by a long shot.

Inflation is bad. But at least we are ONLY having inflation problems. The West can handle inflation not the first time may I add either.Kalingrad-Lithuania | 2022
yes... imagine the reliability that could have a survey made in a Country at war, by the Ukranian backed part. Yeah imagine a survey that’s never even sourced or referenced. Just an offhanded pronouncement to be taken as fact. With a trust me I know people in Ukraine. The washer is stuck in...community.defconwarningsystem.com
No, we are not. Duly noted. I will remember this, when I will have to spend 100 € instead then 50 € to fill up the car. The last energy bill was +87% compared to the previous one, and it is arrived before the gas cut from Russia. When the next bill will arrive, I must remember to think at the DarkNoon words and smile, because all is going well. After all, it's only a little inflaction. It's not a problem to have economies that need gas and oil, without having gas and oil.

Last I check this isn't happening in the West. Consumer spending is up, factory production is up, retirement plans are up, population growing steady. BUT NOT FOR RUSSIA. The facts/data provided by the Russian government itself shows the West is doing pretty great compared to Russian economy.1.) Industrial producers plummeting for all products from cars, wash machines, elevators, and much more in Russia.

ARE YOU THAT NARROW MINDED THAT THE ENTIRE ECONOMY TO YOU IS JUST ABOUT INFLATION??? HOW YOU ARE DOING ECONOMICALLY AS A NATION IS A LOT MORE THEN JUST INFLATION.
Next time saying someone's wrong without providing sources or facts I'm deleting it. That goes for everyone. The discussion thread has become nothing more then a hot air factory.
The West is doing a cake walk compared to Russia economically in almost every sense of the word. Prices are high sure, but the western economy isn't in a free fall like Russia across the board is suffering.
