Lukashenka is on a three-day(!) "informal" trip to Russia where he'll meet with Putin. Looks unscheduled.
This might also obviate Putin's visit to Hrodna (previously confirmed by the Kremlin); Peskov now appears to be walking back on this:

"The Russian president's press secretary noted that the Kremlin would announce 'in time' (...) whether the Russian president plans to travel to the forum of regions, which will be held on June 30 in Grodno."

BLUF:
The Russians firebombed a hospital that was in a area COMPLETELY under their control after most the staff and patients refused to be sent to Russia, burning them alive.
Easy Fix; Since Russia, India and China are calling for it, they should set the example and disarm themselves first.
Imagine a world WITHOUT nuclear weapons? Would it be more peaceful? Think of all the other crazy technology we have. Biological and Chemical weapons can probably be cooked up a lot quicker than nukes even if we "didn't" have them, either.

Nuclear weapons arent the real problem. (they are probably pretty useful for asteroid mining, possibly even deflecting. But they DO help prevent war, usually. In fact, after WW2 has been the most peaceful time in history!)
Humans are.
There will be a war to end all wars all right. Because the only way to survive will be to rely on other humans and help other humans, guarantee that.

What will the impact be if the USA appoints Russia as a state that funds terrorisme? ( will it be like afghanistan? )

EU and NATO forming coalition ‘for war against Russia’ – Lavrov

Russia will ‘closely follow’ the steps taken by the European Union, the Russian foreign minister said

The actions taken by the EU and NATO essentially amount to the formation of a “new coalition” targeting Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists on Friday, comparing the steps taken by Brussels to the actions of Nazi dictator Adolf Hilter before attacking the Soviet Union.

Moscow has “no illusions” about the prospect of “Russophobic sentiments” within the EU dissipating any time soon, Lavrov said. Russia will closely follow all the “real steps” taken by the bloc and its candidate states, he added in a probable reference to Ukraine, which was granted EU candidacy status on Thursday.

“Hitler rallied a significant part, if not most, of the European nations under his banner for a war against the Soviet Union,” the foreign minister said, adding that “now, the EU together with NATO are forming another – modern – coalition for a standoff and, ultimately, war with the Russian Federation.”

What are they smoking over there?

Interesting report on large quantities of ammunition currently being taken out of storage in Belarus and shipped by rail to Russia. Not consistent with preparations for WW3 - or, indeed, with Shoigu's statement regarding the urgent need to "increase the readiness of the grouping of the Union State's armed forces" and Russia "offering every help in this regard".

Can't seem to find the initial source on this? But this seem a pretty significant increase in rhetoric.
The initial source is Zakharova and the context is the upcoming Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty review conference. Here's the full statement:

There have never been any “nuclear threats” from Russia and never are. Russian approaches are based solely on the logic of deterrence, including in the current conditions, when the NATO members who have provoked the aggravation of the Ukrainian crisis and unleashed a hybrid campaign against Russia, who have proclaimed themselves a “nuclear alliance”, are dangerously balancing on the verge of a direct armed conflict with our country.

A lot of people don't realize where we are heading right now. I have talked about this on my Spaces shows numerous times. The outcome of this war is unknown and could go in any direction right now.

That's also my opinion.
The outcome of a war is absolutely known. The degree of damage and death (ex which cities are destroyed) is the unknown. Russia will absolutely, totally and completely lose any armed conflict with Nato. The known unknown is the degree of damage to the west (probably profound and horrific)

Note: if you're wondering what Lukashenka might be discussing with the governor of St. Petersburg - there have been reports a while ago that Russia is offering to provide him with access to port facilities to enable maritime trade on a semi-autonomous basis. Of course, that comes with a price tag - which will perhaps be on the agenda tomorrow.

Thanks for adding context to this. The whole statement seems a lot less 'severe' with the whole statement properly translated. Maybe I should unfollow some of the accounts that post incorrectly due to translations etc.

Don't get me wrong though the way the word nuclear is thrown around these days are just absurd. Interesting to see how things develop.

So apparently Politico journos got close enough to Anatoly Antonov (Russian ambassador to the US) in a DC cafe to overhear his conversation with the US honchos who were hosting him. This is definitely worth a read (also kudos to Politico for excellent tradecraft 😁).

Im not advocating disarment. In fact I think we should be armed to the teeth.
