Yes and no I agree there is a major part of nato that sees it this way. If that was the case what does that say to the three Baltic states, their nato?
And personally for me it’s just like Syria. The US was wrong to encourage the rebel movement in Syria. It’s government was and had been clearly aligned with Russia. Ukraine had made a choice and sought to shift their alliances and in this case it’s wrong for Russia to interfere with Ukraine.
That’s my right and wrong take on the matter.
This is happening now because the US is strategically the weakest we have been since the carter presidency.
Obama, Hillary and the CIA was backing Turkeys play in the Middle East with their Muslim Brotherhood’s power grab. The fools thought it would be better to have a big NATO ally in charge of it all rather then Iran, Iraq controlled by Iran, Libya and Syria by crazy dictators!
The problem was the insane way they went about it after getting embarrassed and kicked out of Egypt, the one country they had to get first thing because of its huge standing army with modern US weapons. After that they knew that they would have to become a separate terrorist ground without public knowledge of the connection to Turkey.
That’s the only good thing Russia did, was go into Syria and prove within a week that Turkey was directly involved with ISIS and then slaughter those ISIS butchers.
Ukraines government is as ignorant and as corrupt as it gets to keep Obama and Bidens money laundering theft of US Aid money going and that’s the only reason they have fought so hard to keep Russia out!
It’s why Biden is back peddling on the so called tough sanctions he promised he would hit Russia with if one tank entered Ukraine! After Putins speech and moving troops in, every nation should be hammering Russia with Sanctions to stop that madman. China should be as well for doing business with Russia after the Sanctions hit.
History has proven time after time that dictators can not be swayed through appeasement!
