Slava missile cruisers with carrier killing missiles from hell!! That’s why the carriers haven’t pressed the issue, YET! They can call in stealth aircraft and smoke the cruisers from a long distance but that just starts WW3.
If the carriers try to come out and are challenged, then they have a huge problem! Until our subs cause them to launch up like a humpback whale and deep six to the bottom.
I think this is why our carriers are just chilling for now and will stay that way until Putin steps out of line and they have to move into strike positions.
