Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki says that more than 100 "Wagnerians" has gone towards the Suwałki Gap connecting Poland with the Baltic States.According to him, they will be disguised as Belarusian border guards and will help illegal immigrants to enter the country and destabilize the situation in Poland.Morawiecki called it an "unconditional step" towards a further hybrid attack on Poland.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki warned on Saturday that the Wagner Group could be planning a "hybrid attack" against his country after the paramilitary organization moved more than 100 troops near the Suwałki Gap.

The Wagner Group's presence in Belarus has fueled concerns that it could invade Poland to seize control of the Suwałki Gap, a small but critical corridor located along Poland's northeastern border that separates Russia from the exclave Kaliningrad. Should the Wagner Group and Russia take control over the gap, they would isolate the Baltic states from the rest of Europe, potentially allowing Moscow to exert greater influence over these nations.

"This is definitely a step towards a further hybrid attack on Polish territory," Morawiecki said. "They are likely to be disguised as Belarusian border guards and will help illegal immigrants enter Polish territory, destabilize Poland, but they are also likely to try to enter Polish territory posing as illegal immigrants, which creates additional risks."

Poland is a member state of NATO, meaning any attack against it would be treated as an attack against the entire military alliance, per Article 5 of its founding treaty. This means it would likely draw a military response from the U.S. and much of Europe.

"The arrival of Prigozhin and Wagner forces in Belarus is another example of Lukashenka ceding further control and decision making to the Kremlin, contrary to the interests and wishes of the Belarusian people," the Department of State said in its statement. "We continue to look closely at the actions Wagner forces take that are against the interests of the countries where they operate, and we will continue to take actions to hold them accountable."

Russian forces have intercepted three Ukrainian drones over the city of Moscow, the country’s defence ministry said, condemning what it called an “attempted terrorist attack”. The drone attack on the Russian capital early on Sunday damaged two office blocks, according to Moscow’s mayor, and briefly forced the closure of an airport in the city. It said one of the drones was shot down, while two, “suppressed by electronic warfare”, crashed into a building complex.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram that “facades of two city office towers were slightly damaged” following the drone attack.
“There are no victims or injured,” he said.

⚡ Russia's Medvedev: We'd have to use a nuclear weapon if Ukrainian offensive was a success

"Imagine if the.. offensive, which is backed by NATO, was a success and they tore off a part of our land then we would be forced to use a nuclear weapon according to the rules of a decree from the president of Russia.
Veiled reference to Crimea?

Once again, consider the source.

The Ministry of Defense of Poland decided to deploy the HIMARS brigade 140 km from Grodno

Such actions of Poland are aimed at protecting against possible provocations of the "Wagnerians" on the part of Belarus.

In case of further escalation, the Polish Armed Forces are ready for an immediate response.

I haven't seen this posted elsewhere in this thread, but in any case, former President of Russia and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has recently made yet another nuclear threat, one somewhat more direct and specific than any of his previous threats:

This particular threat has also garnered more media traction and woven it's way into more headlines than most of Medevdev's previous threats. It is likely that this is primarily another attempt to further demoralize the Ukrainian Armed Forces and to continue to chip away at public sentiment regarding support for Ukraine within NATO countries. I personally do not assess that Russia would employ tactical or strategic nuclear weapons if they were to lose most of the territories annexed in September 2022. However, it is another matter if Donetsk, Luhansk or Sevastopol were to be directly threatened with capture.
