UPDATE: Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Dovilė Šakalienė says there’s no indication the drone that entered from Belarus was deliberately sent into Lithuanian territory. The object posed no threat and carried no explosives. It was detected while still in Belarusian airspace, and Lithuania was ready to respond.

UPDATE: Lithuanian Armed Forces Major Gintautas Ciunis says that an investigation is still underway into the drone that entered Lithuanian airspace from Belarus on Thursday. However, National Defence Minister Dovilė Šakalienė says that the object that entered Lithuanian airspace from Belarus on Thursday was a Gerbera drone.
