NATO Chief Says Allies Must ‘Be Prepared for the Long Haul’ in Support of Ukraine​

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg met Thursday with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House to discuss efforts to support Ukraine in the war against Russia.
Mr. Stoltenberg, asked if Ukraine would need to concede territory in order to negotiate an end to the war, said: “I’m fully confident in the political leadership in Ukraine. It’s for them to make those hard decisions, to make those difficult assessments—it’s for us to support them.”
