Poland will buy American missiles for helicopters
The Polish government has signed an agreement to purchase 800 Hellfire II air-to-surface guided missiles to equip new attack helicopters, writes Defense News.
The contract for the sale of missiles, which are manufactured by Lockheed Martin , was signed by the weapons agency of the Polish Ministry of National Defense and the US Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC).
The deal is worth about $150 million. Missile deliveries, which could last until 2029, are scheduled to begin this year.
