Ukrainian soldiers from the "Khortytsia" operational-strategic group of troops carry out offensive actions on the eastern front.This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar.According to her, during the fighting, Ukrainian units advanced in several directions: — Orikhiv-Vasylivka, Paraskoviivka from 200 - 1600 m; — Ivanovske, Klishchiivka from 100 - 700 m.

Russian Sources are reporting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an Offensive Operation earlier today along the Vuhledar Front utilizing Mechanized Infantry and what initially was claimed to be Leopard 2 Tanks but now appears to have actually been French AMX-10 RC Wheeled-Tank Destroyers; during the Fighting it’s claimed that Forces from the 37th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy managed to Recapture the Town of Novodonetske though Rybar stated they “Suffered Heavy Losses” including 9 AMX-10s.

Ukrainian forces were making a major effort to punch through Russian defensive lines in southeast Ukraine for a second day, a Moscow-installed official said Monday as Russia's Defense Ministry declared that it had foiled an assault in an illegally annexed region of the invaded country.
Kyiv authorities suggested the attack reports were a Russian misinformation ruse as the Ukrainian military prepares for a widely anticipated counteroffensive.
Vladimir Rogov, an official in the Russia-backed administration of Ukraine's partly occupied Zaporizhzhia province, said that fighting resumed on its border with the eastern Donetsk region on Monday after Russian defenses beat back a Ukrainian advance the previous day.

Russian forces shot down Ukraine’s Su-25 strike fighter – media​

The Russian forces have stopped Kiev’s troops from crossing the Dnieper River in the Kherson region and shot down one of the two Su-25 strike fighters providing air cover for the Ukrainian landing operation, RIA Novosti reported on Monday, citing a source “familiar with the situation.”
“Another attempted … landing operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has failed " the source told the news agency, adding that Kiev’s troops sought to cross the river near the village of Babino, some 124 kilometers away from the strategic town of Novaya Kakhovka, which had a dam on Dnieper that also served as a bridge before being seriously damaged in the Ukrainian strikes.
