Roman Golovanov:<<They managed to get a little deeper into our defenses on the Vremensky ledge, it happens. It would be foolish to expect that Ukraine, which has been preparing for this offensive for several months, will not be able to penetrate our defenses anywhere. Ukraine received all types of weapons it requested. And it has at its disposal data from NATO intelligence, including satellite. And it is strange to assume that she will not be able to push through anything. They went deep and went along the river towards Staromynovka (Staromaiors'ke). Because this is a denouement - from it opens the road to Mariupol. They even managed to take the heights when they went through the lowlands through the villages towards Harvest, Makarovka, Neskuchny. Somewhere they raised their flags. The flag can be raised, but the point is to be in the lowlands when they beat you from the heights. They took advantage of the day when it was raining and very heavy fog - our aviation did not work and aerial reconnaissance with drones did not work. But as soon as it dissipated and it became possible to work from the air, they began to hit them again. But they did not achieve a strategic effect with this campaign. This should not mislead us - they have not yet brought their main forces into battle. What we are now seeing is only a small part of what they can demonstrate. Now there is a war of nerves - who will outplay whom on the reserves. We them or they us.>>

Not sure where to post this, but here is an interesting article on the surrender of an RU soldier to a UA drone. The article provides footage of the surrender and describes the soldier's ordeal. It also brings a human element to the conflict that we don't often get to experience. It was refreshing to see a degree of compassion in an otherwise bleak situation.

Pro-Russian hacktivist group KillNet, Anonymous Sudan, and REvil announced their plans to take down the entire European banking system within the next 48 hours. "This is not a DDoS attack, the games are over. No money, no weapons, no Kiev regime -- this is the formula for the death of Nazism and it will work.""Within 48 hours we are launching this global company, nothing will save you and this is not a warning. I am just informing. You have never seen such problems before."

Sergey Karaganov:
By using its nuclear weapons, Russia could save humanity from global catastrophe

A tough decision would likely force the West to back off, enabling an earlier end to the Ukraine crisis, preventing it from expanding to other states

‘He Lies’: Don’t Believe Anything Putin Says About Western Tanks

Considering the abysmal performance of Russia’s own MBTs, the Kremlin is worried. In fact, some experts estimate that Moscow has lost over half of its modern tank fleet. Its forces have recently put to use antiquated Soviet-era MBTs in an attempt to address Russia’s shortages.

Russia is so desperate to diminish Ukraine’s tank arsenal that it has offered high bounties to soldiers who destroy or capture Western MBTs. According to Reuters, a Russian company disclosed that it would offer around $72,000 in cash to soldiers who fulfill this task.

As Kyiv’s counteroffensive progresses, Western tank casualties should be expected. Russia will use any one instance of destroying a Ukrainian tank to suggest that the country is performing better than it is in reality. In fact, Moscow is currently using very old and outdated MBTs in the war, including T-55s and T-62s. These tanks, which should be relegated to museum duty at this point, are clearly no match for the advanced Western tanks that continue to pour into Ukraine from NATO members. Basically, take the information from Russian state news outlets regarding tank warfare with a giant jar of salt.
