Ukrainian missiles struck the Chonhar road bridge connecting Crimea with Russian-held parts of the southern Kherson region overnight, forcing traffic to be diverted to a different route, Russian-appointed officials said on Thursday.
Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-appointed governor of Kherson, parts of which Russian forces have captured during what Moscow calls its “special military operation”, said the road bridge had been damaged but that there were no casualties.
Saldo said initial information suggested Ukraine was likely to have used British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles for the strike.

One picture Saldo posted on Telegram showed a large hole in the bridge’s surface with water visible beneath it and debris scattered nearby.

A U.S. Defense Official along with multiple other Western Officials have told CNN that the ongoing Ukrainian Offensive is, “Not meeting Expectations on any Front,” with Russian Forces beginning to conduct Operations more “Competently” while utilizing Well-Fortified Defense Lines with extensive Minefields alongside the Support of Air Power and Artillery in an extremely Effective manner causing Ukrainian Armor to be bogged down resulting in Significant Losses.

Any use of a tactical nuclear weapon by Russia, Belarus, or their proxies, or the destruction of a nuclear facility that disperses radioactive contaminants into NATO territory would be viewed as an attack on NATO itself - resolution introduced by @SenBlumenthal @LindseyGrahamSC.
