Orban and Trump will agree on an economic cooperation package that will help Hungary's economy and may offset the impact of possible US tariffs on the European Union.

NOTE: Hungary is an electoral autocracy with no real elections or any genuine form of representative democracy, as its current leader, Orban, and his party have effectively installed themselves permanently. Orban/Hungary also maintain very close ties with Russia and Putin.

German Intelligence Agency's Head Bruno Kahl said Moscow is discussing scenarios to challenge NATO’s collective defense commitment

If war ends before 2029-2030, Russia could redirect military resources toward Europe much sooner than expected, he added.

@DEFCON Warning System @Irag8er @Torch @RiffRaff
This is the full quote “We very much hope this is not true and that we will not be put in the difficult position of it being tested. However, we must assume that Russia wants to test us, to put the unity of the West to the test” can’t find a specific statement where he specifically says Russia is developing plans to test article 5 only Germany is preparing in case they do.

Bulk of Ukrainian forces fighting inside Russia almost cut off, open source maps show

Tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops who smashed into Russia last summer and took control of a swathe of territory there are nearly encircled by Russian forces and cut off from their main supply lines, open source maps showed on Friday.

Ukraine's situation in Russia's Kursk region has deteriorated sharply in the last three days, the same maps show, after Russian forces retook territory as part of a gathering counteroffensive that has nearly cut the Ukrainian force in two.

“Hundreds of Dead”: Inside the Fallout from Trump’s Ukraine Intel Pause

The U.S. decision to suspend the flow of military intelligence to Ukraine this week has aided the Russian advance along a critical part of the front, weakening the negotiating position of President Volodymyr Zelensky and killing many Ukrainian soldiers in recent days, according to five senior Western and Ukrainian officials and military officers familiar with the situation.

“As a result of this pause, there are hundreds of dead Ukrainians,” one of the officers told TIME in an interview on Friday in Kyiv, asking not to be named when discussing sensitive military operations. “The biggest problem is morale,” he added, as the armed forces of Ukraine are being left to fight without some of their best weapons systems, not as a result of Russian attacks but American pull backs. “It’s really causing an advantage for the enemy on the front line.”

Ukraine Preparing Third Strike on Crimean Bridge

Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Oleksiy Neizhpapa, stated that Ukraine is preparing to strike the Crimean Bridge again – a nearly 19-kilometer structure connecting Russia to its annexed Crimea. “The Russians understand we are actively discussing a third operation. There is a saying: ‘God loves a trinity,’” Neizhpapa told The Guardian.

The Navy commander expressed confidence that Ukraine could destroy the bridge, emphasizing that previous strikes had damaged both the road and rail sections. As a result, Russian forces can no longer transport heavy railcars across it.

Elon Musk responded to Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski regarding Starlink:"Be quiet, small man. You pay a tiny fraction of the cost. And there is no substitute for Starlink."Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of State stated that no one had threatened to disconnect Ukraine from Starlink and advised Sikorski to "say thank you, because without Starlink, Ukraine would have lost the war, and the Russians would be on the border with Poland."

Are we supposed to believe that Trump Greenlit this kind of rhetoric? Also I know it's reports, please don't respond to this. Good grief fellas, lets keep it civil in the discussion thread so it stops getting locked!
