For everyone's general information Sky News--here
has just done a pretty in depth report from the front in Ukraine as well as having reporters in Transnistria/Moldova. they will probably repeat this on their next hour report for those interested. Interesting report from the Transnistria/Moldova area and not good as well.

Regards

What? Does he think he will avoid hell if he doesn't use the Vatican to make war crimes easier?
Who says no to the Pope? Seriously. :/ Moreover, who disobeys the Pope not once, but THREE TIMES????? Who does that?!

The war in Ukraine is widening.

With Russia’s advance stalled due to fierce local resistance and Western support, analysts say both sides appear ready to dig in for a protracted conflict that is showing increasing signs of spilling beyond the battlefield.

From warning of nuclear confrontation to stoking energy crises and perhaps even eyeing up fresh territories to invade, Moscow has ramped up its threats this week — but so has the West: The United States and its allies are readying huge new shipments of heavy weapons and military equipment to help Ukrainian troops on the ground, while voicing more ambitious goals for the conflict.

Just because you believe in religion doesn't mean others do or have to. Pope is a human who is no more different or special then anyone else expect superficial reputation.

Just like the President is no more or less then anyone else expect the superficial reputation or authority. They are no more or less human then me or you.

Yet no mention or even a puff of smoke about invading Russia. Wish nato leaders would quit talking about degrading Russian power.
It is like threatening to invade the Rodina to the Russian psyche.

Personally I say screw it. Enough trying to beat around the bush about our actual goal and intentions. It's quite obvious what we are doing.

It is what we been trying to do from the start of the Ukraine war. About time we finally said it. The only person to blame is Putin.

With all that going on , it’s my view that if Russia is not stop soon I mean with in days , things will spin out of control very fast , worked in the navy for 23 years Iam a retired navy chief from the F-14 tomcat communit, we should be on a preemptive footing with our assets in the air 24-7 strike options selected , time is running short .troops and eq are moving towards Poland , and the last 4 days Russia is testing our outer defenses systems , they want to know where everything is before the launch there looking for windows . NATO know this , a major event is about to happen like it or not hang on ……. Been in combat 5 times at sea , this is what it looks like before strike .
While I hope you are way off....I feel you might be correct on this. I will note, to your point, it seems we have had planes in the air around the zone for a bit now on constant sentry type duty. I believe we have taken a "get ready" footing in the theater.

As some hear have claimed or pointed outbthat this is part of some grand scheme to replace Russia leadership snd repress Russia as a nation all along. I don’t necessarily agree with that totally. Maybe that is part of reason and motivation behind Russia’s actions. It certainly feed that Russian phobia.

Thou I will never accept this as a legitimate reason for Russia to invade Ukraine. It is however a reason or excuse for Russian leadership and population to claim and actually believe there are foreign interest out to change there gov all along and thus support and continue this fight or expand the war conventionally of nuclear.

It is the scope of this war to support and help defend Ukraines independence not to punish, overturn, or replace Putin. Full stop

I don’t care if we do or don’t execute cyber attacks on Russia. I’m sure that they are doing what they can as well.

But we have to keep the support of the war based on getting Russian troops out of Ukraine. This is not the time to be overtly talking about degrading Russia or replacing Putin.
It just gives them PR fodder at home and abroad.
If and When this becomes official nato or US foreign Policy, absent secondary military actions by Russia on a nato nation.
Then my support for the war will radically transform.

Ukraine is not an excuse or stepping stone for the west to try and start flipping governments.
Don’t give this as a excuse for Russia to rally support

Well no. We only saught out to weaken the Russian military or remove Putin AFTER he invaded not before.
I believe I understand what you are saying but diplomacy and public perception continued on during conflict. Statements like Putin has got to go or degrade Russia only acts a fodder to support Putin at home. It justifies all the crazy histrionics Putin has been spouting for the last 25 years.
Of course there are battles of civilizations and those timelines are measured in centuries not years or decades.

And if now in this current state of conflict my government makes a stated policy change that we must also “flip” the Russian leadership. Then my support of current US foreign policy will be removed.
