France & Ukraine agreed to a roadmap under which Ukraine ordered an initial 16 Rafale aircraft from 100 planned. Training can begin in France during 2026, with four aircraft transferred after pilots and mechanics complete the training cycle.

France authorized licensed production of AASM bombs and SCALP missiles in Ukraine before the end of 2026. France & Italy also authorized licensed Aster 30 production.

Ukraine intends to order four SAMP/T NG systems and associated radars. Two current SAMP/T complexes will be provided temporarily pending delivery of the new systems.

Poland says the first Coalition of the Willing exercise will be conducted on Polish territory in autumn 2026, involving French, British, Turkish, American & other allied forces.

Poland’s role is to provide logistical and transportation support and serve as the coalition’s logistics hub. Moldova & North Macedonia have also joined the coalition.

Germany plans to acquire new military satellite constellations supporting early warning, reconnaissance & communications and will invest €35 billion in space security through 2030.

SATCOMBw Stage 3 will support expanded sovereign and interoperable satellite constellations and fulfillment of Germany’s NATO commitments.

I read it. I thought the article was kind of click-baity. Just talked about a lot of rumours that have been going around for years. Russia always plans actions against NATO targets, just like NATO plans a lot of actions against Russian targets. These plans are just getting more light because of the Russia/Ukraine war.

The article did repeatedly emphasise that there is no sign that Russia is actually pursuing anything. Just talking about it.

This article was debunking the clickbaiting from other sources. It’s pointing out exactly what you said, and criticizing the other articles for acting like it was more than planning.
 
🛑 The IAEA has been informed by the Russian Federation that the ZNPP chief engineer was killed in a drone strike near the site today.
DG @rafaelmgrossi condemns the reported incident which he says represents an unacceptable attack on the plant and its management, seriously threatening nuclear safety.
The IAEA calls for an immediate end to all attacks on or near nuclear sites and their staff, DG Grossi says.

Poland established a Border Defence Component formed from four eastern Territorial Defence brigades. The new structure will manage East Shield fortifications and warehouses, support the Border Guard, operate drone and counter drone systems, train with PILICA+ and increase its proportion of professional soldiers from 10% to 20%.

The UK secured an agreement to join the EU’s €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan. British defence companies will receive access to procurement contracts financed through the loan, while the UK will contribute toward borrowing costs for contracts awarded to British industry.

The initiative will support defence investment and procurement during 2026 through 27.

Britain shipped the first four development forgings under a £61 million program producing 150 British made 105mm and 155mm artillery barrels.

These are the first forged artillery barrels manufactured in Britain in almost two decades. Sheffield Forgemasters is producing eight forgings monthly, with the barrels sent to Ukraine for finishing and integration.

The UK & Estonia signed a new Defence Roadmap that will transition Britain’s approximately 800 person armoured battlegroup in Estonia into a roughly 1,200 person Mobile Anti Armour Force from April 2027.

The UK will begin pre positioning brigade equipment and ammunition in Estonia during 2026. The new force will incorporate mobile platforms, precision weapons, drones, integrated reconnaissance strike capabilities and networked command and control systems.

The Czech Armed Forces formally accepted the first of two C-390 Millennium aircraft at Prague Kbely.

The aircraft provides heavy and oversized transport, aerial refuelling, search and rescue, special operations support and firefighting capabilities. The second Czech C-390 is scheduled for delivery in December 2027.

The UK named its new Collaborative Combat Aircraft program “Storm Fighter.” The autonomous aircraft are intended to operate alongside Typhoon, F-35 and future Tempest fighters in protective and offensive roles. The program forms part of Britain’s £5 billion investment in drones and uncrewed systems.

Czechia signed an agreement allowing it to join Slovakia’s framework for procuring up to 1,289 Tatra military vehicles. Czech forces are considering 15 of the framework’s 25 vehicle variants.

Both countries will also examine joint procurement of SAM-120 self propelled mortars. Slovakia offered to help protect Czech airspace during its transition away from the JAS-39 Gripen.

Turkey & Egypt signed a Defence Cooperation Letter of Intent covering military training, joint activities and defence industrial cooperation.

Reciprocal air exercises conducted in Egypt & Turkey during June also advanced interoperability between the two countries forces.
