Hey will you look at that. Nato is not a blind boob intent on defeating Putin and occupying Russia no matter what the cost.

Russia via China to NATO, NATO to China. Macron would not fly to China with the announced intentions of talks. With out some diplomatic doors already having been knocked on. It’s an interesting turn coming after Xi’s visit to Russia.
We also just heard Zelinski say the door was open for talks over Crimea once they reach the isthmus connecting Crimea.
It’s been a long winter. Both sides have bloody each other hard. Russia stopped the initial Ukrainian push.,?but they were only able to reclaim small strips of those loses.
We have the spring fighting season coming and a host of NATO armor and air.
For Ukraine it’s going to be a long and costly fight to reclaim their announced goals.
For Russia it will be a hard battle just to repel the new weaponry and training coming on line.
Good time for everyone to count the cost.
Don’t jump all over me about being soft on Russia here. This is war there are no guarantees or fixed outcome.
There is only what you can achieve given your resources and treasure.

Don’t forget willpower, both the troops and the Government. Given that the Russians are seem as kidnapping children and killing prisoners with an occasional side of castration and beating prisoners to death, motivation is extreme on the UA side. The Commies not so much. I really believe Russia is about to have a very bad year, starting in May.

I will not support this, I don't care if it was their land. For one, they didn't fight back at the time, how many years of peace until you are just invading Russia? Putin could really use nukes over this. Crimea may not even be pro Ukrainian anymore especially after the bridge. It's hard to get info out of their but a lot of Russians have settled too. But like I said. Russia will probally use nukes over it. Ukraine'll make the point taking back the east, they might trigger nukes if they try to take Crimea. Maybe if they take the entire east taking Crimea might not even need the bloody escalation of trying to take it now, the Putin regime might collapse by thenUkraine has now stated their intention to retake Crimea and given Russia an ultimatum.

At the moment I would not disagree with you. Not for any moral reasons but simply because it’s not likely feasible.
Ukraine will encounter a much more pro Russian population and it would be ugly and protracted.
So I agree with Lulu.
That said simply again from a practical real world matter. Once the war is over and boarders are secured. Ukraine is free to join NATO as soon as they meet the other requirements of membership.
Ukraine settles with losing territory.
And Russia loses the argument of Ukrainian nato membership.
How about Brazil gives up Governors Island in Rio to the Russians since you “cannot want everything" and “the world needs tranquillity. We have to find a solution."
You can’t lose what you never had.

I covered the war in Syria, extensively. The Russkyi Mir project is the same content with different package and it will only end when all Russian imperial ambitions have been wiped from the Earth.

I just saw a video of Russians cutting the head off a Ukrainian pow made me sick and i really hope the next Ukrainian offensive they show no mercy to the Russian's.........
