Yes, but Putin believes the rest of NATO is weak. I've often listened to Putin's speeches, and he truly believes it. We need to focus on what Putin believes, not what we think.

I did a lot of research on this. The number that is there is less than half of what was on the border prior to the war in Ukraine. Russia straight up said they will do this when Finland joined NATO. To the real world NATO isn’t a threat to Russia but when Russia has been telling their people NATO is a threat to them they’d look pretty stupid to not beef up the border. So is this something? Yeah it’s Russia's response to Finland joining NATO, is it Russia planning to invade Finland? I sincerely doubt it. Even the government of Finland has been downplaying it. In conclusion, the numbers and troop housing being built is nowhere near the numbers from the start of the war in Ukraine at this point it appears more posturing in response to Finland’s ascension to NATO than anything more diabolical.
Ukraine had also downplayed the Russian invasion before, Zelensky had declared after the American warning that he was going to do it "Ah! We know the Russians, they won't do it"
The difference is every other government in the world was telling them they would the ukranians were the only ones who weren’t. Multiple governments are downplaying this. That buildup was also on a much larger scale than this one again this build up has less people than were stationed on the border before the war.

It’s definitely happening there’s no question of that. It’s just not a buildup similar to that prior to the invasion of Ukraine.Conversely there does seem to be validation out of Finland and other western sources. It is not being seen as an immediate build up. Evidently more of a infrastructure enlargement to support stationed troops after the war?

Did anyone report on ground movements? If so many officials would be moved, you would have alot of cars and military driving around right? And if there was a crisis wouldnt we see any other goverments with info about it move as well?
