China has suspended unofficial subsidies for copper and nickel imports from Russia, Iran, and Mongolia, Bloomberg reports , citing people familiar with the matter. According to these people, subsidies were not applied in recent tenders, which could make Russian metals less competitive. Until now, for many years, Chinese state-owned enterprises could receive discounts on copper and nickel purchases, either as a fixed amount or as a small percentage of the metal's price, depending on market conditions.

I cannot verify personally. Even resorted to using 'Grok expert' and 'GPT 5 Thinking' to find source and even directed 'GPT 5 thinking' a second time to search in Baltic, Polish, or Romania language. Nothing.

Even went on NATO websites to see. Not sure why verification is so hard with this. I mean. I don't doubt it happen. Just cannot find orginal source everyone quoting.

Ill post original source once it surfaces.
