Can't ignore what is currently happening, but what bothers me is that internal message stands still: no invasion. I understand why it makes sense to deny it in public field, but why bother and deny it internally, make fun of it? I mean if in 6 hours Russia starts invading, everyone here would be like "WTF". Furthermore, all the think tanks and political journalists will instantly loose trust. They could just ignore the topic, but they keep denying it so fanatically to internal readers. Why?

Likely because the Kremlin doesn't feel it needs public support for the operation they're going to conduct. If Russia actually intended to fully invade all of Ukraine, you'd be right, it wouldn't make sense why the media would be so quiet about it.

But, current messaging seems focused on eastern Ukraine and the Donbas. If we follow the logic that they're going to deploy troops into eastern Ukraine under the pretense of assisting the Republics, I doubt they would need to do much to sell that to the Russian people.

That feeds into RiffRaffs assessment. The good news is that, if that's the true extent of what the Kremlin wishes to do, that's not that bad all things considered. A far cry from a full invasion and occupation of Ukraine.

That is a possible scenario, but would still be seen as invasion by many internally, unless Ukraine would start a full-scale assault on separatists regions with lots of casualties that would make a sufficient picture.

Russia prepared to fire missiles at foreign ships – senior official:

↕️ (2/4) [REPORTS]

Do me a favor and try to post only one subject at a time please, just put the others in a separate post if you will.

The Russian fighters and bombers are specifically aimed at the NATO strike group off Greece! They are armed with nuclear missiles! The TU-22s job is low level naval attack meant to take our carriers with its nukes! The Mig-31 now also has that role since it’s blistering speed helps the missile get up to speed.

This is the one area I have been extremely worried about. One wrong move and we lose three carriers if our Anti air missiles can’t knock them down. Our navy normally goes wherever it wants 24-7 no matter if a Russian or Chinese ship is trying to block it but the buffoons running the Naval show let them get trapped in the Aegean.

Russia completely blocked off the Black Sea with one Slava destroyer group. One Slava is off Syria aimed out to sea and another came into the Med to keep them from heading out into the Atlantic. Russia also has the group off Ireland to keep our reinforcements from going into the Med. Not a pretty picture!!

Obviously Russia has the gun to this strike groups head warning them not to move. I can’t for the life of me figure out why they have sent our dam Raptors to Poland and now Dubai when our people need to have those ships eliminated immediately if Russia fires so much as a 30 cal shell in their direction!

Our military is being ran by MORONS!!

Biden will be speaking on the Ukraine Crisis in 40 minutes... Though unsure where he will be delivering the speech from.

Edit:
You can set a reminder on YouTube for the video above so you don't miss it.

A LOT of disinformation going on right now along with these cyberattacks. My assessment is we are in the opening stages of a Russian incursion into SE Ukraine under the guise of "assisting" the LPR and DPR.
I will not be surprised with what ever happens.

Russia-Ukraine conflict could cause inflation to hit 10%, new analysis finds:

The cost of living is already very high in America. The Russia-Ukraine crisis could make it even worse.
Oil prices have jumped well above $90 a barrel in recent weeks as the risk of a Russian invasion has increased.

If the Russia-Ukraine crisis drives oil to about $110 a barrel, inflation in the United States would exceed 10% on a year-over-year basis, according to a new analysis by RSM shared exclusively with CNN.
