Ukraine military events

Where not giving weapons to Ukraine with the thoughts and intentions of it fighting off the entire Russia army.

We are giving them weapons to make the Russians suffer with a lot of blood and money if they wish to invade. The West knows Ukraine don't stand a chance. But if we make the cost of a invasion high enough may make Putin think twice.

Putin will have a hard time continuing a war where Russians are sent back home in pine boxes by the thousands, a economy swirling down the toilet, and "for what" will the question set into the Russian masses as horrific stories of war/loss is brought back with the dead Russian soldiers in such a war with Ukraine that would only fuel anti war/Putin sentiment across Russia.

Statements like this

https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...me-normal-positions-3-4-weeks-rte-2022-02-16/

are curious to me. I think they're designed to create ambiguity. While some may believe that everything the Kremlin says is a lie, I think what these statements indicate is that Putin is still seeing what his options are.

Honestly, I feel he may drag this crisis out as long as he can in order to see what his options are before giving the go-ahead for either an actual withdrawal or some sort of offensive operation.

Ofcourse , Russia

Ofcourse Russia will push back as much as they can and this allows them to have the look of de escalation even if their not , I think that 3/4 is our new window for escalation or de escalation if they haven’t attacked by then , then they will go back and if not then they will have attacked by then

The Avia.pro agency reported on Tuesday that Russia had obtained what the agency described as a sonar countermeasure device, which the U.S. Navy submarine had allegedly abandoned when it left the area.
I don't know about this. Wouldn't they show this on TV and the web for propaganda purposes.

The Turkish online portal DefenceTurk.net reports that 17 km from the border with Ukraine, Russia has deployed several divisions of 203mm chain self-propelled howitzer 2S7M Malka. The howitzers are located in the town of Vesyolaya Lopan, which is 8 km from the capital of the Belgorod region.

SHIT! If there is going to be any false flag here it is, this is imo how it will start over.

Investigative Committee opened a case because of mass graves found in Donbass:
[TRANSLATED] The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case because of the mass graves of civilians found in the Donbass. This was reported on the website of the department.

"A criminal case has been initiated on the discovery of mass graves of civilians in the territory of Donbass <...> under Part 1 of Article 356 of the Criminal Code of Russia - ill-treatment of the civilian population, the use of means and methods in an armed conflict prohibited by an international treaty," the UK said.
Thoughts @RiffRaff @DEFCON Warning System?

Like I said, if Russia is planning to invade (again), they need a reason still. That could be one.

Another frame here is not necessarily the direct intervention to stop genocide argument, but putting it on the Ukrainians to "offer solutions" to the genocide and then taking some action when they won't.

It's pretty clever in a lot of ways, honestly. Most people aren't going to believe it, but there are plenty of atrocities that have actually happened (as in any irregular conflict), so heaping some fake ones on some real ones isn't the worst idea in the world.

Yeah, I saw that. It would definitely give Russia the "excuse" to go into SE Ukraine.
