There is truth to this.

If I was President, I would have ordered a complete boycott of Russia. Let's see how happy Russia is when Windows stops working.
I’m with you on a full boycott. The snag is nuclear fuel.

Roughly 20% of U.S. electricity comes from nuclear. You can’t swap that out overnight. 18 to 24 months ahead when cutting it off immediately and you’re flirting with rolling blackouts or a brutal unprecedented price spike in energy prices.

If it weren’t for this single choke point, I’d say pull the plug and fuck the other consequences. But taking 20% of our power off the table “right now” is suicide. Build and secure enrichment and supply first, then slam the door and fast in Putins face.

To further add...

Been watching news and reading articles how government under Biden and now Trump trying hard to revitalize US nuclear mining and refining industry.

Goverment Guesstimate with Subsidies Push:
  • Replace most Russian supply 2 to 3 years.
  • Comfortable U.S. heavy supply chain 4 to 6 years.
Best time line and we all know how dates always get pushed back. So will see. ALSO with this new push from tech companies and public opinion shifting in favor of nuclear power not only do we need to fill existing supply but future further demand as well as we build more nuclear power plants in near future. Double whammy.

This seems like a fair reasonable opinion. Are you feeling ok? Getting enough rest? ‘Nuff to eat? PM me ifvI can help.

I’ve turned over a new leaf on the forums and in my day to day life. I’m done with politics. I ignore it and don’t engage anymore. I want to be the unmatched productive force here on the forums again, this time without sliding into political oblivion or burnout.

Since my return from medical leave, I’m sure staff have noticed I’ve stayed out of politics altogether. That’s how it’s going to stay. No one’s changing minds here anyway... it’s a waste of breath and energy.
