Israel Hayom is saying that the U.S. is giving Iran 36 hours to stop all hostilities and reopen the Strait. I have not heard this reported elsewhere.

The Iranians said that communications problems with some units would make it difficult to relay the message to them, but continued fire toward the Gulf states throughout the day angered the Americans. Iran was told it had 36 hours to complete the ceasefire terms: reopening the Strait of Hormuz and fully ceasing all fire.

Interesting for sure.
Most likely some serious "insider negotiations " going on. The US/Trump must be very unhappy and are looking for some country outside the negotiating to add pressure to Iran.
I also wonder about the time frame of the 36 hr. deadline as the story is 2 days old.

The newspaper's editorial line is considered by Israelis to be very favorable to Netanyahu.
So, if we don't find this elsewhere, I'm convinced Netanyahu wants to continue the war because the objectives haven't been achieved. That's probably false.

Two tankers turned back after heading toward the exit of the Strait of Hormuz in the past few hours, vessel-tracking data show, with the traffic in the waterway practically at a standstill.

The G Summer, a liquefied-petroleum-gas and chemicals carrier, and the Meda, an LPG carrier, performed U-turns south of Larak, an island used by Iran for monitoring ship traffic, late Sunday morning local time, according to shipping data provider Kpler. Both were listed as bound for Khor Fakkan, a port in the United Arab Emirates just outside the strait.

Iran is threatening not to attend talks with the U.S. announced by President Trump on Sunday, according to a report on Iran’s state media IRNA. The news agency cited Washington’s “excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade,” which Tehran considers a violation of the cease-fire framework.
