“Even the very wise cannot see all ends”
We see the debt repayment issues arising with some of the belt and road nations. You have the general tensions with India and China. Questionable outcome with Russia and Ukraine.
Then there is always the issue of almost all of the bricks nations are going to need the US and European markets to sell to.
Then we have movement of inexpensive goods manufacturing beginning to migrate out of China.
I’m not saying the West hasn’t done some hurtful and stupid things to stifle developing economies.
But China and Russia are not saints our all out together either.
It’s free market capitalism.
Bricks will make the dollar exchange better and more responsive in the long run. They might even learn something from the bricks economic endeavor.
Like not making so demanding and drastic of social changes dependent on loans and development. And not painting with such a broad brush with sanctions.

Just 48 hours without power in America and all hell will guaranteed break loose. Millions could potentially die in just the first few days with no power, no running water, or refrigeration.
Think of the countless millions of people in America that need medicine to live or the countless more depended on refrigerated medicine to live, think of the thousands in hospitals depended on machines to live, guess what no more dialysis, no more nothing. Just a few days with no power or water is all it takes to send society down the crapper and millions to die.

Yes and many multiple things could cause it not just war....
Should note there is virtually zero back up transformers. The big ones that entire regional grids depend on vulnerable to cyber attacks... They go where out of power for a long time.

Yes it is and China and everyone else knows that. So while it is a threat. It would pretty easily be sused out who launched it. Consequently the risk of a major retaliatory nuclear strike is just as real.
A “total” grid down strike is problematic as far as asymmetric attacks go.

Yes it is Fox News. Which means zero reputable standing in regards to accuracy. But thats in regards to national issues they are worse than junk mail.
BUT on global or foreign issues Fox reporting is usually true/correct just as much as anyone else reporting on foreign affairs in the media bussines.
Fox news for world news okay. Fox news for local or national news is not okay.
