China urged the US on Friday not to underestimate China's determination and capability, and the price that the US will pay for its "arbitrary and reckless behavior," and experts said that more retaliation will follow.

After US President Donald Trump signed a tariffs memorandum against China on Thursday, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said that "China benefitted far more from trade with the US, meaning retaliation could be difficult for Beijing," AFP reported.

"Some people" from the US are "too arrogant and have misjudged the situation," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at Friday's routine press conference. "Do not underestimate China's determination and capacity to safeguard its legitimate interests, and the price that the US will have to pay for its arbitrary and reckless behavior."

When asked about how China will retaliate, Hua said, "It is 'impolite' not to 'reciprocate.' We will accompany the US to the end."

Earlier Friday, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said in a statement that "the US disregards the fact that China is increasing protection on intellectual property, the rules of WTO, and voices from industry," and a trade war is bad for both countries and the rest of the world. "It creates a very bad precedent."

Well then maybe the asshat Chinese will learn to stop stealing everyone else s dam ideas and stop selling crap that poisons the rest of the world. I vote we cut them off for a week and give them a huge reality check. Let everything sit in their ships out at sea and watch them crumble. Walmart has enough to survive lol.

Um, you do realize that the poisonous crap they sell is manufactured by them at the request of *American* corporations who want the cheapest source of labor possible, right? They didn't steal the idea for making iPhones; Apple went to the Chinese government and said, "Please use your slave labor camps to manufacture our iPhones for pennies an hour; we'll sell them for $1,000 and give you a cut." China said, "Sure!" The only people responsible for the Chinese selling crap to the rest of the world are American corporations trying to maximize profits rather than employ Americans.

Thaaankkkk Yoooooouuuu... If Americans really know how globalization has been going for Corporate America, then people should know that Corporate America is more evil then any dictatorship and tbh is a Cancer growing deeper into the American Government, and a furthering disease on the world economy.

I mean Corporate America is responsible for,
  • Majority US population being paid low income wages
  • Corruption at the highest levels in the Americans political system meant to watch Corporate America not turn a blind eye and have Corporate America hand pick whom leads/represents us.
  • Massive health crisis not only the US people and its own environment, but Corporate America causes global health crisis and environmental crisis, you see how China is doing environmentally? Just a unholy disaster unfolding for the environment & it people globally...
  • Slave labor
  • and so so so so so so much more...

BUT is it really their fault? It really is your fault, and everyone's fault, including me. Its the consumer that told cooperate America cheaper products, better products, but kept at a low price. You enjoy your pound of beef that only cost 4$ a pound, or your nice new outfit from Target that only cost 10$.
If everyone was paid and treated equally & the environment 100% taken into account, your pound of beef would be 25$ a pound, and your nice new outfit from Target would be 65$. See the problem, everyone has no problem buying the cheap product, so why care about how it got to you then right??...
You saved money that's all that matters for America regardless of the cost, that is when its not coming out of your pocket or life. Shame on all our houses.
 
The US is interfering with China's domestic political affairs by approving increased financial aid to support the Tibetan "government-in-exile," Chinese experts said on Sunday of the latest US move to pressure China.

The US Congress on Wednesday approved a spending bill which releases $8 million in aid to "the Tibetans inside Tibet" as well as $6 million to "those in exile in India and Nepal," according to the Consolidated Appropriations Act released on the Congress website.

The bill offers no less than $3 million for "programs to strengthen the capacity of Tibetan institutions and governance."

"Aside from the trade war and the Taiwan Travel Act, financial support for Tibetan separatist forces is the latest move for some political forces in the US to pressure China as they do not want to see China's smooth development and onward Sino-US ties," Zhu Weiqun, chairman of the Ethnic and Religious Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, told the Global Times.

"It is not strange for the US to approve the bill since it has become the main backstage supporter of separatist forces, especially the so-called Tibetan 'government-in-exile' from the 1950s. And the US Central Intelligence Agency used to take part in training Tibetan spies," Lian Xiangmin, an expert at the China Tibetology Research Center, told the Global Times.

The US government has offered financial support for the Tibetan "government-in-exile" since the 1980s and former president George W. Bush signed the Tibetan Policy Act in 2002, Lian noted, adding that 2018 funding is the largest ever.

Unilateralism and trade wars harm everyone, benefit no-one, trigger larger conflicts and exert a negative impact, Chinese Vice Premier Han Zheng said on Sunday at the annual China Development Forum in Beijing amid spiraling trade disputes between the two largest economies in the world.

"The readoption of trade protectionism leads nowhere," Han said in a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the high-profile forum attended by government officials, business leaders and prestigious economists.

His remarks reaffirmed China's stance against a trade war with the US, although US President Donald Trump has been shown to be keen on launching a one-man trade war with China. On Friday morning (Beijing time), the Trump administration announced plans to hit China with up to $60 billion per annum in new tariffs on Chinese imports.
