Whats up with Walmart.

Ok, now before anyone goes compleatly crazy, this is NOT a ConTheo item. Just a note. As we know, 5 or so Walmarts closed in the JH15 states. Is it connected? Who knows. I know this though. The walmart down the road from me was having some work done to it. I go in at like 1 or 2 am because I am a night owl. Well, the other night I went in and they have like 1/4 of the store closed and were doing something to the floor. The place looks so weird being packed in tight on one end (The food side) and half empty on the other (Pharm/toys/garden areas) I have pictures and video to back this part up. I asked what was up but nobody would say (couldnt get this on video sadly) Location is off Harwood Rd and Precient Line Road in Hurst, Texas. Across from Tarrant Community Collage. If it is plumbing, then its slight proof that they didnt need to close the walmarts fully, nor take 6 months or whatever. If its just resuffaceing then, well why would Walmart do that. The floors are crappy anyways in all of them. Anyways, once I know how to upload the video and pictures here, I will. This is for just figuring out the reason behind the closings, not the JH15 or "Marshal Law" stuff. ML will come with the riots, but that is a different thread.

Care to explain how military exercises could possibly be connected to a chain like Walmart?

Yes, I'd like to hear this.

They are built perfectly for certain things. And Jade Helm 15 is an operation of training called R M T (Realistic Military Training).
I believe Obama is up to something.

On-site procurement, improvised logistics, scavenger practice.

I didn't ask you... but since you joined in, here is my rebuttal.

While it is necessarily true that those three things each have their merit in a crisis, it would be rather difficult to put those ideas into the field for a training exercise. Since their is no applicable crisis at hand, it would be difficult to justify the temporary closing of a supermarket for a training exercise, even if it was widely accepted. As it stands, the theory that the closing of department stores is in conjunction with a military training exercise is simply ridiculous and illogical.

Ever seen a sixteen lane artery clogged even WITH retrograde traffic? Now THAT'S Illogical.

I'd have to agree with you there.
It doesn't have to be a major undertaking, Just select a few, give local commands a randomized scavenger list of critical items, and time how long it takes them to strip the place. Then the Walmart staff set the place back up and re-open. Good to go.

Okay, that makes sense. This brings up a logical conundrum for me though. If it is necessary to "strip the place" and gather the items, that would seem to suggest a closure for nothing more than maybe two, three days, tops. Considering the large amount of closures and the length of time, I'm not sure that fits your description.

On the other hand I might be overthinking this.

(I guess you will have to copy and paste because its not making it a link sry)
scanning CNN website and see this about walmarts profits hurt by wage hike for employees. Now I remember it being said that those 5 stores closed because they didn't want to pay the employees more money.(after they claimed it was plumbing problems) if that is the case how is it that their profits are down because of wage hikes? I'm totally confused about what is really going on with these walmarts. does anyone actually know what they are doing and why they closed?

now I don't know if this persons sources are believable or not ill leave that for you guys but there is a youtube video explaining walmart underground tunnels and insider info for the closings.

thanks for any imput

pff the tunnels theory is actually quite funny I think. Its a myth that there are underground tunnels across USA, connecting military bases like area 51 to other bases across the country, (and now wal-marts) and there are trains that go 1500mph through these tunnels. the tunnels were supposedly made by nuclear tunnel boring machines that melt the rock/soil into glass that coats the sides of the tunnel for strength.

its a bunch of crap that people make for youtube views IMHO. There is just no basis to any claims.

I am much more inclined to believe in the "semi-official" story that they were laid off because of corporation-worker relations. Not some underground tunnel base theory.

To be honest, the thing that worries me most about the entire jade helm thing, is some group of "anti new world order" radicals take shots at/attack the military in jade helm, and then the possible repercussions that could have. (a possible feedback cycle of more militarization, and more protest/extremism against such)

But I don't think wal-mart really has anything to do with jade helm. Until I start seeing videos of suspicious activity at/around these wal-marts I just can't take any claims seriously.

Theirs also a funny conspiracy that theirs a tunnel that leads from Washington DC under the Atlantic to italy and that if a catholic ever came to power in the presidential office then the pope would crawl the tunnel and come over to take over America. This concpiracy was absolutely huge pre world war 1 and 2 and is still popular today.

I dont think its possible for a human to travel at 1500 MPH. Im no scientist so i could be wrong of course. I dont know anything aviation though. I do know that if you are going to travel fast in a jet you have to wear that tight suit so blood stays in your brain so you dont pass out.

Here is something that is related to the Walmart story.

This is its lastest bit of anti-union propaganda

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gbEKy7eJak

Its pretty funny if you can get over the bad acting (or not)

As for speed, humans (or anything) can go any speed. Its not the speed that kills, its the sudden stop (or acceleration) and a healthy human without assistance can only withstand about 5 or so g for any period of time, and even less confortably. (taking 20 seconds to accelerate to 100km/h on the freeway is only generates about 0.15g) That can go up with training, and technology, but.. At 5g, you are accelerating at about 45m/s squared. And you can continue accelerating at that speed indefinitely, as long as you have the energy to keep feeding the acceleration.

Ignoring thermal-dynamics, because these supposed underground train tunnels are kept in an absolute vacuum, so no air resistance, the train could accelerate to 1500km/h in 5 minutes, and it wouldn't feel any different then accelerating to 100km/h in 20 seconds on the freeway.. The acceleration period would just be much longer.

So long as you can deal with the drag, and thermal-dynamic problems of moving at such speeds through 1 atmosphere of air pressure, there is nothing that really limits what the human body can take, speed wise. Its how people used to be able to travel on the concord at more then twice the speed of sound, with nothing but a lap belt, like a regular airliner. All the while, accelerating up to, and passing the speed of a bullet, while sipping on wine.

Neat idea, but funding and upkeep of the infrastructure would be a nightmare.

It would be so cool if/when it could be made. Although designs have been put forth to build such a project, its in its preliminary phase of production, and the design has been scaled back more then once, and is super expensive. Estimates range from 6 to 7.5 billion dollars to install the system from LA to San Francisco. And that is a tiny distance. Prolly would be in the 100's of billions to build a cross country version.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperloop

Actually something that I REALLY like the idea of (at least as a mind problem/simulation) is a 'gravity train' from one side of the earth, straight through earths' core, to the other side of the planet. Physics says that in a perfect vacuum, it would take 21 minutes to fall to the core, and another 21 minutes to 'fall' back out to the other side, for a cross-planet journey of 42 minutes, reaching a max speed of about 30,000 km/h by the time you reach the core. Would be a pretty cool ride if such a thing could ever be made (not likely... at all.. But still fun to think about)

here is how the theory works. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_train

Have yall noticed, JH isnt talked about much now. Well, execpt for Alex. Another thing swept under the rug by media.
 I seriously doubt it was swept under the rug. To be honest, it's far more likely that the story no longer held the interest of the American public, and in the interest of ratings, the media stopped reporting.

They never reported on it all that much to begin with, from what I've observed. I heard one report on NPR about it, and that was because the good people of Texas are getting antsy.

Unless advertisers can find a way to spin it to make money for the corporations (that's who controls the media, after all, not some shadowy government entity), it's just not gonna get much attention.

Until something dramatic happens.

:?

You got that right! Its not the government that controls the land, (people) its the corporations! And until the masses realize that, they (we) will be at the whim of the corporations. (which is to make as much money with the least amount of effort)

And guess what the cause is? (I doubt it's capitalism and greed. No links have been proven!)
