G4 (Severe) Watch in Effect for 12 November | NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center

NOAA posts a G4 severe geomagnetic storm watch for 12 Nov after an X5.1 flare from AR 4274. Multiple CMEs are inbound with potential interaction.

Forecast window is G2 today, G4 possible 12 Nov, G3 on 13 Nov. No widespread disruptions reported so far, arrival timing remains uncertain.

If I’m reading NOAA alert correctly the X-5.1 CME is supposed to arrive sometime between 12th and 13th US time.
Potentially a G4 storm which is second most powerful. People are reporting seeing the aurora as far S as Florida Texas Az. Forecasted as the strongest one since 06.
