Yellowstone nearing eruption as new study finds magma brimming below the surface

Yellowstone has been blown way of proportion. Even if Yellowstone was to have a maximum eruption it would not be catastrophic or global society ending. Sure North America will have a really, really, really bad day, but short of north of America, the rest of the world will keep moving. Effectsful almost entirely stay within North America.

What's really messed up is that there have been several volcanic explosions in our human history that have caused much more devastation than Yellowstone could ever cause. Where still here last time I checked. Granted such eruptions in the past didn't happen in the 21st century.

HOWEVER... After taking a couple of days to truly understand and learn about Yellowstone. Yellowstone is the least of everybody's concern or it should be at least. IF YOU'RE NOT IN NORTH AMERICA. At least. Also I suppose if your country depends on the food imports from North America to survive then I suppose you're f***** as well. 😂

Short of depending on food from North America, you should be fine.

Now.... removing America from the global economy has its own dangers so... Take that technicality within a huge grain of salt. Sure physically the world will move on just fine but without the United States the world could quickly fall apart.

It's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Yellowstone cannot cause a volcanic winter, my post above explains everything. Yellowstone isn't even 1% of the threat the media or Hollywood portrays it as.

The effects will be extremely hyper regional and hyperlocal. The effects will not be global in any way shape or form.

It will devastate America. Which will have its own follow on consequences but physically there will be no global catastrophic consequences resulting from the eruption itself.

It will take down America which will have its own problems but again the eruption itself will not cause the problems, it will be America being "down for the count" where dictators and terrorists alike on the global theater will try to take advantage of America being "down and out" where the most threat will come from not the volcano itself.
 
I wouldn't be too concerned at this time. This article is made to frighten people, even putting a contradictory passage part of the way through that reads : "Yellowstone isn’t slated to blow its top anytime soon. Based on the prior three eruptions, there has been an average of around 725,000 years between events, meaning we technically have 100,000 years to go before the next one..." If you are concerned ( especially if you live in the Rockies or in the Central US) it is better to go to the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory website for accurate information.
