I'm taking this night watch. With Republic's recognition being in progress, Ukraine has no other choice but to charge into offensive in attempt to clear out Russian influence before it's too late. There will be fire.

Ukraine officials now starting to accept the documents regarding Donetsk District. The document signed today.
Article 3.2 mentions already to prepare officials who will be put in charge of the liberated territories.

So basically Russia will avoid invading by making them come to Russia, I don’t see how this ends in any good way for Ukraine so why even go there ?

I see a lot of contrasting opinions in the last few posts. I would like to say one thing: if Russia really had clear conscience about Minsk's Agreement not being respected by the Ukraine, why act in such an obscure way? Why amass 75% of their forces around Ukraine without trying to report to the international community what were the problems? I mean, now it's too late and doesn't even matter, but to me, the lack of transparency by Russia means they know they are doing something wrong and they are trying to bring people to their side. And, by the way, I'm not saying Ukraine is not shelling RPD, I'm just saying that this war could have been avoided and both sides are at fault in some way or another. By the change of Russia's communication (24 hours ago they were saying that Russia had no intent to attack Ukraine and now they are saying the peace process has no chance of success) I can say that they are very close to getting committed to invading.

They have tried, it never goes well. They speaked about it during the whole meeting of Security Council.
During the Security Council meeting today, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov, as a professional diplomat on worldwide stage, asked a valid question - why NATO members are capable of efficiently dealing with their own problems such as Turkey-Greece Cyprus conflict, or France-Mali even negotiate with rebels there, and other recent conflicts - with proper applications of international institutes and organisations such as EU, UN and many others. But with the Russia they are unwilling to cooperate with diplomats, are not able to speak clearly or give any appropriate answers to their actions. Russia has no choice but to act themselves, for that they must bring all the forces facing West. Doing anything without being prepared is simply stupid.

You can say it that way. Russia is outgunned at all stages - economical, cultural (propaganda), diplomatic and military. They are going against the whole world that is trying to kill them.
And, by the way, I'm not saying Ukraine is not shelling RPD, I'm just saying that this war could have been avoided and both sides are at fault in some way or another.
Shouldn't have started ethnical conflict and oppressing Russian-speaking populace after a coup. Then, they wouldn't get Donbass rebelling so willingfully.
No one fled to Ukraine when evacuation order has been sound, a certain death awaits these people there.

You can go over November's topic about situation in Ukraine. You can see what's happening there: some assaults on villages, footage from TB2s attacking artillery, most importantly there were reports of Ukrainian forces amassing. As of now, Ukrainian numbers on DPR/LPR border are estimated at 200.000. As one of the explanations (the other one being invasion) it was to counter these forces and stop them from the temptation of making a quick assault capturing all DPR/LPR in 2-3 days. The difference in force with DPR/LPR is 4 to 1 in this case, so a quick assault like this was theoretically possible.

Time for Ukraine to shell the hell out of that area with everything they have if he does! He is going to invade anyway so kill the sob 😆
We both know what the US would do, lol. Unsure if Ukraine has the arty to do a coordinated and preemptive strike if troops start to move.
