Peace talks will eventually happen with the condition that Russia keeps whatever it took.
They've done this so many different times.
I see this whole scenario ending just like how it did when they took Crimea almost 10 years ago.
The Russians already been sanctioned so many times, the people in power have had literally years to hide their assets in places the west cannot reach.
All sanctions are doing now is pushing China and Russia closer together.

They know Biden won't do shit about it, Obama was twice the leader he is and didn't do shit about Crimea.
The midterms are coming up and they know the current administration can't handle another military fiasco.

If that was true there are two scenarios that could play out. His death would destroy the Ukrainians and they would give up or, what I think would happen, his death would ignite a fury amongst the UKA and they would go on the offensive.
"Officers are in the military to keep control of their troops, without officers to control them, they would show no restraint."

If the reports of the scale of logistics issues Russia is facing are true then I'm just stunned. How do you bungle things this badly? This has honestly changed my entire calculus on the capability of the Russian military, there seems to be deep issues at the command level, strategic and tactical thinking errors, and a rolling disaster of a logistics train. And to think this is all in their own backyard, imagine how much worse this could be were they to try and really project power at a distance.
This could be a major flaw in the set up in Russia. If everyone is absolutely terrified of the guy above and the consequences of failure then faults and issues are not pointed out they’re just brushed under the carpet. Abilities are also exaggerated to boost reputation amongst superiors. It could well be that from top to bottom the story portrayed is of a ruthless super disciplined totally prepared Russian army that is doing just fine in Ukraine.

Imagine fearing children 😐
I think kids should be exempt, but here in America, they aren't...I've seen plenty of kids get beat down in America for protesting, tear-gassed..and much more. Come on, quit looking at what the RU is doing and look at the local protests. During the George Floyd protests, kids were being gassed and taken up?

The good thing in America... your crimes drop when you turn 18+.

A Russian missile strike has destroyed the Slovenian consulate in Kharkiv.

Slovenia is a NATO country. Consulate buildings are considered sovereign soil. Could this become a problem?

So, how do you bungle things so badly? The answer is very simple. It's called "Too much vodka"

They won’t.
How you so sure. This could give NATO what it needs to impose a no fly over Ukraine. A NATO nations soil was struck.

After past 6 days I stopped using the word impossible. A lot of unimaginable things have occurred in just the past 6 days I would find absurd to even think of two weeks ago.

Slovenian aka NATO soil was struck by a Russian bomb. You really think NATO will just let that opportunity slide??? Maybe not a no fly zone. But they could certainly use this for many things.

NATO isn't exactly spoiling for a fight. They aren't looking for a confrontation. Besides, US shot down any idea of a no fly zone.
