Ww2 I don't even need to explain the Nazi's or the Japanese prison groups..but you know, they were the axis..not "humans".

What about the original Europeans which were to be "Americans" raping indians, or using the dead bodies and displaying them in a bad fashion, what about colombus with the infected blankets? What about the means sacrificing people, what about the Russians in WW2 being renown for rape and random killings. What about the rapes and killings the japs did you the Chinese during Nyan king (or whatever you call it). Every single group to this day has, and will continue to do the most disposable, dirty shit inorder to survive, and many will claim some dirty shit the other group has done to create moral to fight, or get people radicalized to fight. Like it's just sick how we believe we are okay to do the dirty stuff, but when someone else does it it's not okay. Every single war is like this and it's like a progressive downturn till you're willing to do the dirtiest shit you can, use a nuke..demoralize via putting people on sticks and dropping dead bodies in the town square with scooped out eyes. Start gassing cities because you don't know where the enemy is in the city but you know they are there. Torturing for information because you know someone has the info you need so who cares if you chop a few innocent toes, or break some innocent bones, and break random people because at some point you'll find someone who has something

In fact I have no concern for supposed injustices perpetrated against ethnic Russians because as you noted it’s just war and human nature. While we’re at it when will Russian solders begin raping women again like they did on their March to Berlin.
Now that we’ve clarified that let’s move on and booby trap more dead mothers and their children.

I’ve explained this before, I know my nation has done some horrible shit before. I regret it I will continue to argue that it never happens again.
But none of those incidents listed prohibits or bans me from speaking out about horrible shit that’s happening today.

If...you know your nation did something bad why did you need sources for me to prove it again? I stated I don't like what's going on with civilians and the abuse of general human rights. I can't expect Russia to stop these type of actions if Ukraine doesn't stop, and the same for Ukraine to Russia. I recognized them all but the Korean War incident.
I’m not afraid to change my view or are they so nationalistic I can only support my nation. You can ask riff raff and dark noon that I will always criticize my nation when I think it is in the wrong.

They can choose who they are allies with yeah, but right now Russia is afraid because of the whole nato concept. If you overthrow a government and get them in nato..you can't touch that country or you risk war...be it with spies or a military, you risk war. I think that's a big threat, but yes countries should choose what they want if a majority agrees, but a lot goes into it such as idological control (which the Nazis did). It's super touchy but in a perfect world where we don't have influences via spy's and forigen governments I agree. I still agree with the concepts of spy's and outside influence. The people should be able to do as they wish.

I think the Ukraine Nazi thing is a bit wild yeah, it's a means to emotionally appeal and get people to join in and gang up on Ukraine, this helps especially if you have idological control.

I fully believe that both sides have a reason to worry, but I think Russia did it because they feared the nato expansion into Ukraine. Though that's what I've learned/researched to this point, I also believe Russia does want to establish a line to the Kaliningrad, and well repair the old Soviet union, but I think that goal is being forwarded on the grounds that they are stopping nato from expanding onto them.

The complexity of a theater is way to complex for a single person and that's why we have people who are dedicated to a country, sometimes people dedicated to a country and it's history with another country doing all the talking. My preferred theater is Europe, but most of my base is in Russia because it's my personal country of interest besides like France.

I will admit I have no knowledge on Russian economics, I only know of the history between other countries and underlying trade, not the full economic profits.

Still, I think a good bit of the humanitarian abuses rely on some military men being pissed off and speaking revenge, but these will typically be the minority.
 
About 15% of soldiers are sychopaths. Imo. Denial of existence is ridiculous. About 55% of vets wouldn't return after first tour realising what and why wasn't what they thought. The rest are patriotic to their country and wallet nowadays. After Vietnam, soldiers get much better incentives to return financially. Yet the military establishment and governments still don't do enough for vets. And probably never will. As far as atrocities go, some were sick before joining and some become sick from the fear and adrenaline etc. War changes people. War doesn't change. All militaries suffer all commit atrocities. Not all soldiers but the minority exist in the majority. It exists in the east and the west . Yesterday, today and tomorrow. It will always exist. Pointing fingers will always make you look stupid. Believe propaganda designed for support. Na not stupid. Just tunnel vision. But hey if you can justify it , power to you. The world is made up of lots of different characters. This is a great site for seeing this. Great to see so many who are not shy to speak out. As we don't fear being categorised or judged. Even if some see it different etc.etc. The restraint on branding and name calling is amazing. And just another positive to take from here. 🤣😂🤣🤝

I'm far from communist. Branding and categories come in to play when your not understood or they can't. My attempts of neutrality confuses some people, or frustrates the shit out of them. Either way each to their own. You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. Some breeds are more set in their ways than others. Ask the vet community, they have fought along side each other ,yet their opinions of each other are amazingly interesting and entertaining. If it isn't different nationalities opinions it is different forces opinions from the same country in the same war. Eg. 70-80yr olds still trying to punch on at rsl - retired services league - war veterans. Because Army ,Navy and Airforce argue all the time about who did what , who was risky etc etc.

The DEFCON level is not really a list of red lines. "If <x> happens, then <y>." There are a lot of factors that get weighed when determining a particular alert level.

I know that isn't the answer you're looking for, but there it is.
