Yeah just about inflation. I'm sorry but the economy and how it is doing is much more wider and complicated then just "inflation". If inflation is the Wests only problem then we have it very very good compared to Russia which is down across its ENTIRE economy in virtually EVERY sector in Russia.
I never said the West wasn't hurting. JUST THAT compared to Russia we are doing much better, and in a way better position to ride out the economic turbulence. Which the raw data backs up.
Simply if there was a contest on who is hurting more Russia definitely wins first prize.

I follow this web site from many years, by the first big Ukrainian crisis in 2014, because I find the analysis of this site very in-deep. So, not only I generally agree with your peridic statement, by often there is an interpretation that allow me to undestand better the situation. So, the synthesis that you, and the other staff are able to do, is commendable. Untill the outbreak of the war, my interest is grown, as in all the world. For that reason, I started to write often. Considering that 90% of the people has discovered Ukraine the 24th February, for me, that I'm passionate for nature about geopolitic, it's a pleasure to speake about this matters with people knowing what we are speaking about. For that reason I assume to are relating with people able to not get angry because one is not 100% sided for Ukraine and US, because for that, it's would be enough the TV, where there are the usual shows where the usual 5 dudes hang-out, giving reason each others and where, sometimes, very rarely, there is ONLY one other dude, thinkig different, who is beated up and accused to be "pro Russian", "Russian infiltrated", "Russian propaganda spreader". So, my question is: do you want to stay here you, obreid and someone else, giving reason between you telling yourself how much Russia is bad?
My source of info, are mostly in Italian. Sometimes, I post something, as I do about what we are speaking about. For example the "sole 24 ore" news, for whitch "google traslate" fit very well:

So, do you really think that in such situation, the problem is only "inflation"? You surely know that Russian gas has already been cut in large part, in Italy and in Germany even much more? Do you really think that the implications of this are only some inflation? I really have to post info about Russian gas cuts in EU, just to could say that the problems are very big, and intended to get worse? I have to post this:

Let's be honest: this are the facts. Then, we can have diffent opinion: for you, sanction are right, For me, they aren't: I would take them off, by now. All of them. I can say that, or is too much "pro Kremlin"?

Don't get mad or upset with the West for trying to protect everyone's future in Europe which is threatened by Russias senseless war of agression in Europe that will spread to other nations if not stopped here and now.
It stops Russia from starting more wars in Europe which will be much worse then your current money problems. Big picture man.
I wish I could send every person who says/thinks they have no freedoms or going through hardships caused by the "west" and send em to Russia. You think you have it bad or no freedom in the West? Please for the love of christ move to Russia and let me know if you feel the same way.

Ahahahahah, the bad economic situation is mostly caused by bad leaders making bad decisions, quite easy to blame Russia. It has more to do with the after Pandemic, Here in Canada the government gave money for everyone, even those who didn't need it, it looked like they had gotten a printer to print fake money. So let's pay now.
Granted your somewhat right. But if the senseless war of agression in Europe wasn't being waged by Russia the current economic situation would be a lot more manageable.

That's why I vote, I get involved in my community, I volunteer, I donate to my party/candidates & charities. I feel I have a right to complain because at least I try to do something about how my country operates. What can any of you say?
Half the people here don't even believe in voting which blows my mind and the people that say they have no say complain how society is, I'm sorry when was the last time you volunteer your time at a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, or even donated to charities that support your beliefs to make a difference? Don't complain unless you do something about it and it is free except your time no excuses.

When less people vote gives more of a chance very unqualified candidates get into office. It's the lie that your vote doesn't matter is what got us here. The less people that vote the more chance crooks can get into office. More people vote the more you will see politicians for the people. Plain and simple.
Simple question to leave everyone, how do you expect politicians to do the right job if they where hardly voted in by anyone? OR how do you expect a system to work for you if you don't participate in it like voting, volunteering, or donating?
Voting turn out in the US is horrifying and is the main issue in the West for poor policy making. Less people participate the more big bad greedy politicians get away with.
