SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — The rival Koreas say they’ve exchanged warning shots along near their disputed western sea boundary.

South Korea’s military says its navy fired warning shots to repel a North Korean merchant ship that it says violated the sea boundary early Monday.

North Korea’s military said it’s responded by firing 10 rounds of artillery shells as a warning to South Korea.

There were no reports of clashes between the Koreas.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions over North Korea’s recent barrage of missile tests.

Going to happen sooner or later.
Sooner. Odd its taken this long since we have seen activity at their test site for months now. Must of ran into some issues with the bomb. This may be their first thermonuclear test.

They have claimed they have succeeded in testing a fusion bomb last test but the seismometers didn't quite back up their claim.

Call it a hunch I guess, but they are likly going to try and test their first thermonuclear weapon. They have certainly had the program long enough and have done enough tests to gather enough real world data to do so.

More nuclear bomb talk from those in USA, who have never lifted a finger in actual war in their lives:
AP reports on DoS Wendy Sherman and former social worker: "United States will make full use of its military capabilities, “including nuclear, conventional and missile defense,” to defend its allies Japan and South Korea, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman "
