U.S. oil bad......Foreign oil good

Granted it's bad press for GOP minded people to cancel the pipeline. But for the DEMS, they need those minority votes or they would never hope to win elections. Seeing a DEMS admin walk over natives would not go over well with DEMS base.

So yes it entirely make sense why the DEMS admin shutdown the pipeline to appease minorities to gain political leverage among their base for next elections.

So I guess your right. Government didn't care. They just cared about getting votes, not the natives themselves.

And if preserving Native American land and preserving nature is criminal or somehow bad then I don't know what to say to you.
Regurgitate activist talking points blah blah blah.
There is already pipelines systems already spread out all over this region that are old and need of repair and can’t meet the volume. And the solution is to not put a newer system in to replace what’s worn out? Because one local tribe of a national tribe didn’t get the transmission royalties they wanted. Then used the environmentalist to shut it down for both nations. THATS LOGICAL government decision making?

As far as crude weight Venezuelan is slightly lighter than Canadian 25 - 20API. But it too is a mid to heavy weight and is a feeder stock just like Canadian crude.
It’s a tit for tat with Canadian and Venezuelan oil. They both fill the same purpose in hydrocarbons production.

We killed keystone and Canada sold to China. And stopped buying so much Venezuelan.

70% of the worlds hydrocarbons are in what are called open market, “not state owned or controlled”.
The US and Canada make up the bulk of that supply.
Oil policy is never determined by what what work or is reasonable.
It is determined by gov who view oil as a necessary cash cow for their operating expenses.
When I see a climate activist I see a activist who’s blind, or many not, to a foreign government.

Nah I’m still not buying it!

It’s still bad policy so are the politicians cheap or constituents Ill-informed.

I know mmanh hate bureaucrats but it is bureaucrats that prevent elected officials from inplentment radical policies...... weather DENS or GOP. Bureaucrats goals are only for American interests. And absolutely not for gaining political or voting Leverage!

And yet it’s not bureaucrats who are elected are they, most for life.
The only radical policies they fight against are those that limit their own influence and power.
We saw that in living color with the last admin.
Blatantly they told us, well yes we had to stop an elected officials policies. Because it worked against our interest.

They forgot, or maybe not, that that elected official was elected because the electorate no longer supported the bureaucracies managing decisions.

But they sure showed us uh,
they showed us who the real problem is

That is the beauty of it. Bureaucrats are not servitude to Democrats or Republicans. They are simply there to implement the policies of elected officials within reason.

Seriously for my own personal experience bureaucrats do not face the same pressures or servitude to one party. Since as you say we are here for life we only act in America's interest. Not party interests.

It is the bureaucrats who have saved the world and America. Not the elected officials who are no more then figures heads. They are not the ones to implement their policies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the smart, sane, and educated bureaucrat who tries to implement a administration's policy every four to eight years......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I'm not saying that bureaucrats should have a sole Authority,.. absolutely not!!

I'm just saying don't blame the bureaucrats for trying to implement laws every 4 to 8 years for a new Administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to be sarcastic but so you know personally how hard it it is to reverse a TEMPORARY administration laws/goals are?????????????????? Bureaucrats aren't the problem it's the two-party system and their infighting or divides that make any long-term policies quite literally impossible to implement..........😔😔😔😔😔😔😔

Well it’s good to know your firmly committed to the non-responsive professional class that is more vested in the status quo of their own self- importance and self-aggrandizement.

God save the bureaucrat!!!
I well remember how their importance was written into our nations foundational laws and government.

I'm sorry does the constitution say how a nation more then 3000 miles wide, 50 states, and modern technology say how elected officials implement their laws nation/state wide? It does not.

You must magically think lawmakers decisions just magically become reality even state level not just federal.....
Hahahahhhahahahhahahahhahahahahah no.

All laws passed by lawmakers go through bureaucrats to see if it is even feasibly possible.......... to implement in a SHORT 4 to 8 year period. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Laughing at the notion somehow lawmakers who only have reelection to worry about implement their own laws!!! 🤣

I love your simplistic "fantasy". But lawmakers implementing their own laws?????? 💁‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ That is as possible as flying pigs with the amount of people now thanks to agricultural industrialism!!! 🤣😂 how can they possibly implement their own laws without worrying about re-elections every few years?????

Bureaucrats don't have absolute say or absolute law in america. They are only there to serve the will or at least the legal will of the current Administration which can serve between 4 to 8 years which is very very very very very very very very very very very short term in retrospect of our lifetimes.

Bureaucrats think long term NOT short term based on party politics or administrations. Decisions or advice is given on the long term basis not the administration/party basis.

It's the reason why bush, obama, trump, biden, have not been able to do whatever they want.

Their policies have to be within reason to implement. Any political figure, Congress, or President (even combined) can propose or implement whatever.

It's a different matter/story when it comes to implementing laws in real life.... understand?

Lawmakers respond to bases wishes. Bureaucrats deliver on reality not party politics wishes.

Moderators I feel throughly violated
Will there be a bureaucratic process, well yes.
Does that bureaucracy need to be accountable to the elected officials.
Like the CIA not tapping the phones of elected representatives.
Or investigative agencies fishing for crimes because their not happy officials.
That wasn’t covered in the founding either so I guess we’re good.
Please don’t make me go back and source the news stories, there part of the public record.

It was initially a concern that nepotism would be problematic. Now it’s a problem nepotism of the bureaucracy where by your own admission control the system.
Really a sad thing to actually be proud and defending such a inbred self-serving system.
If we had fewer laws and constitutional overreach we would not need all these jobs for life who are protected by a nepotistic system.
Nah I’ll still pass, your wrong.
