The pandemic is mostly to blame. Like 80% of court trials for criminals where postpone throughout the Pandemic meaning criminals where laying waste to the streets while waiting for their original court trial.

Not to mention the record early release of prisoners at high risk to Covid. We all know it. It was covid that lead to the past 3 years of serious crimes increase.

So I don't see any valid points in your post but hot political fueled rant. Again a president is held to a higher standard and is put under more scrutiny then any other job ON THE PLANET. If he had a lot of dirty laundry then he should not of ran. That goes for anyone running for president.

All time high? Yea, that is a load of BS. NYC is a crime free utopia compared to pre-2000's.

People always feel crime is up, every election season, they report such, even though it is mostly false. Some years are worse than others, but crime has been on a decline, and certainly isnt at an all time high. THAT is a blatent lie.
What I have seen is numerous cops refusing to do their job because they willfully misinterpret laws that are made with good intent, intent to reduce harm, because they feel they are being targeted (funny, the cop trying to chase my family out of town for being too poor[literally said such], I didnt realize I was targeting them), leading to a sense of lawlessness (when, again, these reforms were mostly symbolic to keep protestors happy, and have been reeled back and dont prevent cops from doing a lot of things they claim they do)

It almost seems like both parties could use a lot of work in the justice and law enforcement field. But I havent seen republicans pushing for actual change, or passing any laws even in states they control.

Sorry for the tangent, but using a blatant lie to make an argument about the justice system just makes you look guilty (not you, Trump)

My point is cases like his origination were found guilty of seldom if ever go to a jury trial. They are settled out of court. All this was about was headlines and smearing him some more because he dared to run for POTOUS again.

For the month of September 2022, the number of overall shooting incidents decreased in New York City compared with September 2021, highlighting the NYPD’s continuing work to combat gun violence. Citywide shooting incidents decreased by 13.2% (118 v. 136), driven by significant declines in Brooklyn, southern Queens, the Bronx, and northern Manhattan. Additionally, the number of murders citywide decreased for the month of September by 23.5% (39 v. 51) compared to the same period last year.

Overall index crime in New York City increased in September 2022, by 15.2% compared with September 2021 (11,057 v. 9,596). Five of the seven major index-crime categories saw increases, driven by a 22.7% increase in burglary (1,409 v. 1,148), a 21.5% increase in grand larceny auto (1,215 v. 1,000), and a 21.3% increase in grand larceny (4,552 v. 3,753).

Yes - crime has gone up. But it is certainly not at an all time high, and it is on a historic downtrend over the past decades.
So, the all time high part IS total bs, completely pulled out of the ass of yours truly, trump.

And frankly, id love to see some effective policing and justice reforms including holding all politicians accountable. Its just deflection to say "how could they target me when crime is at an all time high, if all time means the past 5 years."

And I am aware crime has risen. this is why I have repeatedly said, it is NOT anywhere near an all time high, in any city, that would be absolutely insane, I sure as hell wouldnt find myself feeling realitively safe in one of the top 1% worse cities in the US by way of crime.

Different standards depending on which party you belong to.
