So Macron is bad because, while being the president of the most democratic country in the world and the only true nuclear power in the EU, is bad because he doesn’t want to get involved in a war on which his country nor his people have absolutely no interest?
Guys the media are showing you only what they wanna show you.
France, Spain, Germany and Italy are experiencing bigger and bigger protests against the NATO and US policies.

Warmongers like senator Graham are only fueling the anti NATO sentiment which is quickly growing and fueling the idea that the US needs wars to feed his industrial output and to shrink his allies economies (which are economical opponents) by putting gasoline on fires.
Are the European NATO countries, allies or colonies?

I always laugh so hard when I see American people are pushing to fight a war against Russia or China criticizing the Europeans, while at the same moment they have never experienced the wonderful consequences of having a war happening on their own soil.
 
Anyone think that China might just take the opportunity here and basically say, “F it.” and just declare the damn blockade? What if that was always the intent? It’s clear China is gonna do this eventually if not now. The United States on the world stage is at the weakest they have been in decades. No time like the present.

I have been watching this with a very close eye. My other eye is closely on The Middle East.

I agree. This would be the perfect time.

Not sure China is in position to do that, though. Not enough force in the area.

As to your question well it would be war imo. The US and a lot of other Western nations need Taiwan to stay independent and unharmed due to their chip manufacturing and other skill traits the west so desperately needs.

Just at the pure business perspective not even taking into account all the other things, just on a business level the US & rest of The West have a lot at stake in Taiwan and we are clearly not going to let it fall into CCP hands without a fight.

I would not be surprised if Taiwan & US already have plans to ensures China gains nothing but a pile of useless rubble.

Without a doubt if Taiwan starts to lose they/we will destroy all the chip factories, then brain drain the nation of all the tech people who know how to make high end chips send them to America. Even with a blockade I'm sure it will be possible to smuggle people out of Taiwan before their collapse.

Taiwan & The US will make sure China chokes on Taiwan when they try to swallow it.

This has been established. I just think some of us like to read deeper into the reports so we don’t get caught by surprise. Tactically speaking, now is the perfect time to enact the blockade. The west will likely take weeks to decide what to do, in attempts at diplomacy, all while forces from both sides get put into place.

It’s completely realistic and certainly possible.

Correct and a blockade is entirely different than an invasion. The military resources for a blockade is also entirely different than for an invasion.

Correct. And God forbid the United States do the tactically sound thing, and immediately launch surprise strikes against the Chinese Navy in order to break the blockade, we would be seen as the aggressors. America always has to be a victim and take the first punch in the eyes of history.
