A coalition of NATO Allies has agreed to donate their F-16s to the Ukrainian Air Force, and as part of the deal, Danish instructors are training Ukrainian pilots, technicians and ground crew how to fly and maintain the F-16

F-16s, allegedly piloted by the Ukrainian pilots, flew along the aircraft with the Ukrainian President onboard in the skies over #Belgium. This country promised to give Ukraine thirty F-16s by 2028. Today, Belgium also signed the security agreement with Ukraine becoming the 11th NATO country which did it in recent months.

I have been going over my prep the past couple months. Adding things, checking stuff, and testing things.

I have even been thinking about selling my house and moving out of the Tampa Bay Area to somewhere more remote if things continue to go in the wrong direction.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the exercises are aimed at "maintaining the readiness of personnel and equipment of units for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons" and ensuring the nation's territorial integrity and sovereignty "in response to provocative statements and threats by individual Western officials against the Russian Federation."
"During the exercise, a set of measures will be carried out to practice the issues of preparation and use of non-strategic nuclear weapons," the defense ministry said.

Ukrainian sources claimed last week that Kiev had delivered a strike at a Voronezh-DM site in Russia’s southern Krasnodar Region, near the city of Armavir. The alleged operation is significant, considering that the facility is part of Russian nuclear deterrence, according to the explanation penned by Colonel Markus Reisner and posted by the Austrian military on Sunday. French President Emmanuel Macron says Western countries should let Ukraine strike military bases inside Russia with the sophisticated long-range weapons they are providing to Kyiv.

His remarks came a day after NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg urged the alliance’s members to lift some of the restrictions on Ukraine’s use of Western weapons. “The right to self-defense includes hitting legitimate targets outside Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said at a NATO meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on Monday.
Already, at the start of May, Moscow interpreted as a threat U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s comment that Ukraine could use British long-range weapons, such as the Storm Shadow cruise missile, to hit back at Russia.
That, and Macron’s comments that he doesn’t exclude sending troops to Ukraine, prompted Russia to announce it would hold drills involving tactical nuclear weapons.
 
Meanwhile in the West, our leaders have resorted to pointing at the map showing the locations of the enemy because Ukraine is prohibited by the White House from striking Russian military troops with US weapons on the other side of the border as they stage to invade Ukraine.

President Biden is edging toward what may prove to be one of his most consequential decisions in the war for Ukraine: whether to reverse his ban on shooting American weapons into Russian territory.
He has long resisted authorizing Ukraine to employ American weapons inside Russia because of concern it could escalate into a direct American confrontation with a nuclear-armed adversary.
Now, after months of complaints about the restrictions from Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, the White House has begun a formal — and apparently rapid — reassessment of whether to take the risk. Approving further uses of U.S. weapons would give Kyiv a way to conduct counterattacks on Russian artillery and missile sites that now enjoy something of a safe haven just inside Russia.
