Britain is ready to deploy troops on the ground and planes in the air in Ukraine to achieve "lasting peace" and to ensure that Putin "doesn't come back".

This was stated by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer at the final press conference after the meeting with the US President Donald Trump in the White House.

Instead, the US president emphasized that he is ready to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine after the US signs a subsoil agreement with Ukraine.

Europe Aims to Appoint Special Ukraine Envoy:
While the US has been charging forward with efforts to end Russia’s war on Ukraine, the EU has been struggling to figure out who might represent the bloc if it secures a seat at the negotiating table. Plans for the Brussels meeting also include setting out a unified European position on security guarantees for Ukraine and expectations for peace — as well as devising a strategy for rearming the continent. Leaders will call for increased flexibility in financing rules and ask the commission “to propose additional funding sources for defence at EU level, including by means of additional flexibility in the use of structural funds,” according to the draft conclusions we’ve seen.

The first statement from U.S. President Donald J. Trump, following his heated-argument earlier in the Oval Office with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with Trump stating, “I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”
Yeah I don’t think this war is ending this year.
